Drama is good, it allows your roleplay to continue and gives you something fun to roleplay about.
Be careful not to make your characters so super observant/powerful that you cancel out any potential drama in your rp. This could also occur if you make your answers too short.

Example: (1= Person 1. 2= Person 2 etc)

Don't.

1. Dave grinned and held his hand out to the stranger he had just met, eyeing her up and down to see if she had any valuables. "Pleasure to meet you. My name is Dave."

2. Melissa didn't trust this guy as far as she could throw him. She had spotted him eyeing her and wondered what he was looking for. She ignored his hand and said smoothly. "I'm Genevieve."  Note: Melissa has given Dave a fake name. This later could create some drama and trust issues between the two characters.

1. Dave knew straight away that she hadn't given him her real name, but decided to humour her. "Okay... 'Genivieve'." Now there cannot be any drama or anything like it. The rp may end sooner because of this.

Do

"I'm Genevieve."

1. Dave took his hand back, noting that this girl was not very friendly. "Well hello, Genevieve, it is a pleasure to meet you, now please hand over anything that may be of value, or I will be forced to hurt you, which would be quite tragic."

Example #2
Don't:
1. Cindy sees a snake and screams shrilly, nearly climbing up Justin in an effort to escape it. Potential drama: someone gets bitten, its a fairy in disguise, it actually is just Cindy hallucinating. Idk, just be creative.

2. Justin kills it. "Are you okay?" Welp, any potential drama just went down the drain.

Do:

1.Cindy sees a snake and screams shrilly, nearly climbing up Justin in an effort to escape it.

2. Justin falls over with the sudden impact of Cindy slamming into him, unfortunately this lands him a handsbreadth away from the angry snake.
