School of...love?

Confrontations and a cute couple jam session

Tomika's POV

Zack and I were in my mom's car listening to Zack's new playlist on his phone. And before you ask I told my mom about us because it was better to tell her then to deal with the mother senses. What? They exist and trust me it is scarier when you try to keep a secret from a mother (A/N: This is from personal experience and the lesson: just be honest with your mother because she will ALWAYS find a way to discover what you are hiding).

All of a sudden I got a text from...wait for it...wait for it...wait for it...Lawrence (you thought it would be Summer didn't ya ;)). What in the world did he want? He probably meant to text it to Zack. Oh well might as well just go ahead and read it. 

(Key: Tech-Wiz: Lawrence, Bassist: Tomika)

Tech-Wiz: I know.

Huh? What in the world does Lawrence know? Not like he could have seen... Oh no...

Bassist: What do you know?

Tech Wiz: You and Zack.

Bassist: How? You left with Summer and Freddy!!!!

Tech-Wiz: I forgot my scrapbook in my desk, so I told them I forgot something and Summer's mom parked the car in the parking lot. When I went in to get it I saw the little scene between you and Zack.

Bassist: Lawrence I can... Wait you scrapbook?

Tech-Wiz: Yeah. I go with my grandma to her classes at the senior center. Ruth and Linda says I have a real knack for the hobby. However some of them are stingy like last week Polly was taking forever with the glue stick. (A/N...again: Sorry I just had to think of a random excuse for Lawrence). Wait... not the point. The point is that you and Zack are keeping a secret from the band.

Bassist: I know I know. Just please don't tell anyone. I am new to this whole relationship thing and I just want it to be between Zack and I. 

Tech-Wiz: I don't know Tomika.

I look up from my phone to see that we are almost near my house and I turn to Zack who was looking at me with concern in his eyes. "Hey what's the matter?" Zack asked. 

"I am going to show you this because we have a major situation." I said showing Zack the texts from Lawrence. I see him reading everything and when he got to the part of Lawrence saying that he saw us I just saw Zack's eyes bulge out. 

"What are we going to do?" Zack asks handing the phone back. "I don't know. But we have to figure out something." I said and went back to the conversation with Lawrence.

Bassist: Please Lawrence. 

Tech-Wiz: Fine. Only because I like seeing my best friend happy. But in return you both have to hang out with Freddy and Summer next week because I FEEL LIKE AN AWKWARD THIRD WHEEL!!! At least then the both of you guys have people to talk with if one couple turns mushy. 

Bassist: Deal but my prayers are with you Lawrence.

Tech-Wiz: Thanks Tomika. Wish me luck. I'll text if I need you to send back-up.

Bassist: Yep I have Esme on speed dial if you need assistance. Bye.

Phew... That was so close!! "So what happened with Lawrence?" Zack says putting his arm around my shoulder. "He agreed to keep it a secret if we go with Summer and Freddy next week to something." I said. The rest of the drive we just listened to music. Once we got to the house the first thing we did was do homework because we wanted to get that out of the way. After which we were about to start helping my mom. Oh how was Zack with my mom? Let's just say Zack became her favorite child. Thanks mom -_-.

"Why don't you two just go hang out in the music room? I can start the planning and I will call you if I need some help." My mom says with a smile. I pointed the room out to Zack and he headed that way. Before I go to the room my mom mouthed to me "I like this one," with a huge thumbs up. I laugh at my mom and head to the room.

I got into the music room and closed the door (no dirty thinking). "Hey do you want to play some music?" Zack says grabbing the guitar. "Sure what do you want to sing?"

"I don't know. How about "All of Me"?" He asked. I nod because honestly the song is one of my favorite.

"Cool. How about after we sing "Thinking out loud"?" I asked because there is nothing wrong with Ed Sheeran. He gave me the thumbs up then we started jamming out. 

(A/N: Listen to All of Me on top or Thinking out Loud down below but remember I own absolutely nothing except the plot of the story)

At the end of the song we stopped and then looked up. 

Zack's POV

At this moment I knew that Tomika was my one and only. I care so much for her. Hopefully Lawrence keeps his promise and does not tell Freddy and Summer about this. I mean the guy is one of my best friends but let's be real. He cannot keep a secret to save his life. 

Nevermind. Right now my focus is on my girlfriend and now I remember my next big problem...

How am I going to ask her out on a date? Because I have no idea how I am going to do that. Time to start thinking of ideas.

Hey lovelies! Sorry I am late for updating. I have been busy and I have been spending time with my family. Although I will say that so far season 3 of School of Rock is looking amazing.
