Memory Magic

One Scarlet haired and one Blonde haired girl, a pink haired and an azure haired boy were on a mission to destroy a cave that was completely indestructible from the outside and the townspeople that had attempted to enter said cave never come out...

"According to the directions the mayor of this town gave us, this must be the cave they were talking about!" Erza exclaimed

"Well... What's wrong with it? It seems like a normal cave to me..." Natsu said innocently

"It turns people into stone if they touch it... Also the people that enter never come back out again... It's our job to scour the inside and find the towns people!" Erza said

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Gray said with a gleam in his eye

"AYE!" Everyone shouted as they entered the cave

***IN THE CAVE***

"Ugh! This cave is disgusting!" Lucy whined before summoning Horologium.

"Quit your whining Lucy! At least you have SOME form of shelter!" Natsu whined

"All of you SHUT UP! Who knows what is down here!" Erza said threateningly causing everyone to shrink away in fear

The group continued through the cave silently until they all saw a magic seal appear on the ground underneath Erza

Her eyes widened in realisation before they closed and she collapsed to the floor

"ERZA!" The trio yelled running over to the scarlet haired fairy queen

"Erza...? Natsu whispered as he placed a hand on her shoulder right before her eyes opened wide

"Wha...?" Erza said blinking a few times before quickly crawling away in fear

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" She asked her voice quivering

"Erza? It's us! Natsu, Gray and Lucy!" Natsu said

"Natsu...?" She asked uncertainly

"Yeah! That's me!" The pink haired boy yelled excitedly causing Erza to press herself up against the wall

"Sorry..." He whispered

"I-it's okay..." Erza whispered back

"So... I take it we won't be able to complete the mission!" Gray exclaimed loudly

"Agreed! She says" Horologium said just as loudly matching Lucy's own sound frequency

"Guys... Your probably scaring her..." Natsu whispered as he slowly approached Erza as to not scare her, leaving his teammates thinking:

'When the hell did Natsu get responsible?'

When Natsu had made it close to Erza so he was about a metre from her she tried to look for a way to get out

"Hey, hey, don't worry I'm not going to hurt you, can you just answer me a few questions?" Natsu asked in an unnatural soothing voice

Erza looked at him uncertainly and reluctantly nodded, relaxing a bit

Natsu sighed in relief "can you please tell me what you remember?" Natsu asked again with his unnatural soothing voice

"N-nothing except, s-someone na-named Natsu..." She said quietly

"Well, if it makes you feel better, my name is Natsu..." Natsu said

Erza perked up at hearing this and nodded toward him in thanks

"Do you know your name?" Natsu asked

"No..." Erza said

"Your name is Erza..." Natsu said

"How do y-you know s-so much a-about me?!" She said pointing an accusing finger at him backing away

"Shhhh... It's okay, calm down..." Natsu said successfully calming her

"I know so much about you because you're one of my best friends, would you like to know more about yourself?" Natsu asked her

"Y-yes..." Erza said quietly

"Okay... You are Erza Scarlet, you are 19 years old, are currently apart of the mages guild: Fairy Tail, and one of the strongest members. Your magic is requip: Za Naito (The Knight) but unlike other people you can requip both armor and weapons" Natsu said slowly

Erza looked confused and Natsu sighed and stood up offering his hand to her

Erza flinched "It's alright, we're gonna take you to your guild, so that we can let the master help explain..." Natsu said

Erza slowly took his hand and he pulled her up

Once Erza stood up Lucy and Gray started bombarding her with questions

Erza squeaked and hid behind Natsu

"Guys..." Natsu groaned

"What?" They asked

"She doesn't want to talk right now!" Natsu said protectively

Lucy and Gray were taken aback by his protectiveness but complied and shut up

Natsu took Erza's hand again and started to lead her out of the cave

"Guys, I don't think we can complete the mission with Erza in this state, you go ahead and tell the mayor, we'll meet up at the train station" Natsu said with an affirmative nod

"First! Natsu! When the hell did you get the authority to become responsible and boss us around!" Gray yelled frightening Erza

"Idiot, you scared her...!" Natsu exclaimed still whispering

By this time Gray was wide eyed at the control Natsu was showing

"Fine... C'mon Lucy..." Gray grumbled stalking out of the cave with a towing Lucy

Natsu heard a whimper come from behind him and turned around to see Erza standing behind him with a look of terror on her face

"Erza what is i- Oh holy Mavis!" Natsu exclaimed as he sized up the huge creature that stood infront of him

He looked over to his right to see Erza whimpering

The huge monster waved its arm toward Erza and hundreds if smaller versions if him with wings flew toward her

"Erza!" Natsu yelled grabbing her by the waist and running out of the cave

When the bat creatures made their own way out of the cave they shrivelled an exploded causing Erza to squeak and hide behind Natsu peering slowly around him when nothing else happened

Natsu smiled softly at her and held out his hand which she took and hid halfway behind him as they began their walk to the Train Station
