November 6, 2016-- Jade's big party

"Kai! Come over here" Someone yelled my name and drink in hand I began walking in that direction. I took a sip of my drink, and it burned my chest. I was still having fun, that's all that counts. I was finally 17 and single, I could have as much fun as I wanted! I walked into the kitchen and saw jade doing body shots and so I decided to join in on the fun. Music was blaring, the bass was vibrating my whole body as I danced against a hot sweaty body. I felt a hand under my shirt but I was feeling to good to care so I kept dancing. I danced with several others that night, having all the fun I possibly could. I was a shy girl, i didn't go to parties or hang out with tons of people, but all that changed after I met Jade. She was fun-loving, exciting, and even I'll admit--a breath of fresh air! It was so invigorating to have a friend like her. SHe pushed me to break out of my shell and start having the time of my life at parties. I used to sit in the corner and not really mingle, but oh how thats changed! After about three songs I went and picked my drink back up and drank some of it. I was soon going to go home because I had work in a few hours and couldn't be too drunk. So I began to tell jade bye and make my escape when everything went began to get blurry as my anxiety began rising. I felt so funny and heavy. Everything soon got dark as I stumbled with all my might to find someone to help me, someone to bring me to a hospital. Then, Nothing. I could feel and hear but could not move at all. I was paralyzed, I began to pray to god that he would keep me safe. I passed out and there was no more anything. Just Nothing. Complete and utter darkness.

*****Author's note*****

This chapter was much shorter but I'm only trying to do brief flashbacks and not give away too much at one time. What do you guys think so far?
