Throes of Love.
Chanel looked at herself in the mirror. She didn't know how long she had been staring. When did she turn into this? She had never been one to let people force her into something she didn't want to do. She didn't always feel sorry for herself but that was the case now. She knew she was stuck. There was nothing she could until he got over his stupid need to have her.
Her body ached all over. She felt like sleeping and she wanted to wake up and all this would be a nightmare. She should have seen the signs when she was dating him at that time. He had been so sweet to her.
Chanel actually had feelings for him and it was hard when she had to let go but he was clouding her heart. She had almost confessed all her problems to him. Now she felt nothing but regret and hate. She should have walked away from him the minute she saw him.
That stupid Mr. Manuel! She would have never guessed he was married. She didn't know why Alfonso thought she was involved with him. What hurt her most was he called her a slut? Of all things, he knew she wasn't a slut. Yes, she liked the finer things of life but who didn't? That was how she was brought up.
Chanel had kept herself because she hadn't found the right person yet. She wanted to give it to someone she truly loved and he had taken it in the blink of an eye. Then he thought to call her a slut. The bastard!
She wiped her angry tears away and made her way to bed. Maybe if she slept, the persistent ache in her head would go. Who banged a person's head on the floor.

Alfonso sat in front of his father. His father was talking about him taking over the family name. He was being told he had to marry a girl and he wasn't getting any younger. He was not so in the mood for marriage.
"Your mother mentioned you have a girlfriend?" Octavio asked, his first born child.
Alfonso groaned. Why did his mother have to tell his father everything? That was how they had been even growing up. He knew his parents loved each other dearly. Even if his father always put a thick exterior on the outside, his mother was the only one to ever get through to him when he was angry.
"She's just a friend, papa. " Alfonso said, he didn't want his thoughts going back to Chanel. She was in his head all day, every time.
"Well, you have to find someone to make your wife. Your brother Angelo is not interested in this at all." Octavio said, wondering where his second child was. Angelo was always one to keep to himself. He always kept his problems to himself too.
"I can't just find a wife. It's easier said than done. " Alfonso said, he was already getting a headache.
"That's why I'm giving you time. A month. You have a month to bring a woman. I will give you a tip, your mother really likes that girl you introduced her to. " Octavio said, winking at his son.
Alfonso shook his head at his father. He was about to mention Tatiana but he thought against it. His mother really disliked the girl and he knew his father would not approve of such but then again. His father was not going to chose who he was going to marry. He wondered why he hadn't heard of her since.
Tatiana was the only daughter of a very wealthy drug lord. Being the only girl, she was the apple of her father's eye and was spoiled rotten.
Tatiana was also his flavor of the month, most of the time. He, sometimes, stayed away from her because she talked and made too many comments about meeting his family which eventually came to pass and she had been disliked the very minute. It was funny watching her peel potatoes. His mother could be mean when she wanted to be.
