Second Kiss

Brianne

When I got in school, Josh approached me immediately, apologizing for being an ass yesterday and I told him that it was cool. He asked me, more like begged me to give us a try, just one date. And you totally not gonna believe that I said yes.

During art class, I felt eyes boring at my back, like someone's trying to make a hole in my head. I looked at the person, only saw the devil glaring at me. I cocked an eyebrow but he just looked away, I rolled my eyes and proceed on sketching. The bell rang, I stood up and quickly exited the class.

"Brianne!" I heard my name being called through the crowd. I turned around and saw Josh sprinting towards me. I waited him until he's already beside me, he slung his right arm around my neck and led us to the exit. Reaching the parking lot, he spun me by my shoulder. "Are you sure about this?" He asked, slightly panicking. I laughed and nodded. He sighed and looked away, he ran his hand through his hair showing his nervousness.

I giggled. "Why are you so nervous?"

He sighed and looked at me. "Look Brittany, I really do like you. I know you think or heard about me being a player but the truth is no, I've never been nervous asking a girl out. Well that's kinda made me a player but the thing is, I'm really into you that's why I'm making sure if you really want to go on a date with me."

I blushed and smiled. "Course I do," he smiled back and hugged me. I pulled away and stepped on my tipy toes and gave his cheek a kiss.

I got into my truck and started it. "I'll pick you up later," I nodded and drove off leaving him with a grin on his face.

The question fired. "Why are you grinning like an idiot?" Amber asked while crossing her arms over her chest.

I shrugged and went to the kitchen to grab a yogurt. "Nothing," and didn't look at her.

She cocked an eyebrow and smirked. "Tell me you have a date," I looked at her with a huge smile, we squealed.

"Brianne have a date! Brianne have a date," Toby sang.

"I knew Zach would ask you out!" She said while we're jumping in excitement but I stopped.

What?

"No," I furrowed my brows. She stopped and looked at me confused while Toby kept on chanting. "Josh asked me out," I said.

Her face dropped. "Oh."

"Why?"

"I thought it's. . . Never mind, at least you have a date!" She beamed a fake smile, slowly walking and snatching Toby away, when they reached the stairs they ran off. Weird. Why'd she think that the devil would ask me out? Hell, how could she think that I would go out with him?

When the clock reached 6 I took a shower. I searched for an outfit and found my red and white roses dress and paired it with my white converses. I applied some blush on and tint and dried my hair, my curls hanged perfectly cute.

I heard the doorbell rang but before I could open it, Amber beat me.

"Zach," she said surprisingly.

What is he doing here?

Amber glanced at me and back to the devil. "Come in," I rolled my eyes and went to the kitchen. "Can we talk?" I heard him say. "Is there something wrong?"

"Brianne have a date," Toby smiled at Zach. Well guess what, they're best buds too.

"Oh really?" Zach said amused.
