Walking back home.

While walking back home me and star where in absolute silence, it was so awkward i couldn't help myself. I felt like i was going to puke. These days i feel nervous around star but i don't understand what all of these feelings mean, does it mean i'm in love with star? ( isn't it so obvious you dummy 😒).
I decided to shrug it off and we finally made it home.
At home
Me and star got home at exactly 8:3opm so i took a nap from the exahusting day of walking back from jackie's
Meanwhile star stayed up in her room talking to glossarick and texting janna on her phone.
I then woke up and decided to check up on star, i went to her room and it was empty. I asked glossarick where she was but the pudding eating monster said there was a catch i had to get pudding for him, yeah am not surprised, i got the pudding and feed it to him . He told me that star went out for a walk so i went out to look for her.
After a while of walking around the block looking for star i saw her in the park on the green carpet grass star gazing (how ironic star gazing at the stars 😅).
I laid by her side and asked her why she went out alone "i went out because i needed to fresh air , i just had to think about life in general you know?" She replied still looking up. "What is there you need to think about". "Oh....just things" she said nervous
"Oh.....okay i guess if you don't want to tell me i should just stop asking , but when you are ready to talk just know am here for you" i said smiling until star just had to tell me " we should start heading back it's getting late" which made my smile to fade. I don't know what i was feeling but i felt so happy just lying on the grass star gazing with the one and only star butterfly.
As star was about to get up and head back home i grabbed her by her wrist and pinned her to the ground , our lips where just some inches apart. I kept going closer and closer until our lips where about touching . "Marco ......what.....are.....you.....doing?" Star said with a surprised look on her face . I suddenly regained my senses with those four words that came out of her mouth. "Sorry star it was all a joke , i just wanted to see you smile and how your face will look if i was to do such a thing" i said nervously .
"Oh.....i see" she said replying my previous statement "i'm sorry if i took it too far.....it was supposed to be a joke" i said turning red .
"Don't worry about it marco, i think that's enough star gazing for one day, lets head back home" she said trying to hide her tears. "Yeah....i think your right lets head back home" i said rubbing the back of my head.
On our way home star was absolutely quiet just like when we came back from jackie's . I wonder what's going on in her head. I tired breaking the ice but she gave me look which said don't ask anymore questions . So i just stayed there in silence until we got back home .
When we got back home star ran straight to her room and locked herself up. Meanwhile i stayed in my room thinking about what's going on with star and her new behaviour.
She must hate me right now, what was i doing ? Now star is angry with me although am sorry for what i've done but i am also happy to have connected with star in a way. I think i should get myself distracted ,it will be better than just sitting down here.
Star's pov
i couldn't belive marco was about to kiss me i was surprised, afraid , shocked and happy all at the same time, i'm sorry guys if i have mixed up feelings okay!!!!!!. My heart was pounding as marco came closer as our lips almost touched , i thought if he kissed me it was a sign showing me marco loved me just as much as i love him. But it was all just a terrible joke hearing these words from his mouth made my heart ache . I just could not handle the pain the moment i had the chance to escape this awkward situation i ran to hide my tears from marco in my room.
After a while of sobbing in my bedroom i decided to go get my dinner, on my way downstairs i saw marco waiting for me in the kitchen that we could eat together . I could not help myself but to start blushing at the sight of him😶.
"Oh....hey star come sit so that we can have dinner together" he said patting a sit beside him
I nod my head in agreement and sit down.
While we were eating i tried my best to concerntrate on my food and avoid eye contact . I finally finished my dinner and avoided marco also . I was on my way back to my room but something stopped me ,it was marco he cornered me to the wall and asked me "star why have you been avoiding me and i have already told you am sorry for what i did to you " he said looking all innocent "marco ...it's not that...i don't... just know how to explain...." before i could complete my sentence his gentle lips were already against mine . "marco why......why ....why did you kiss me if your like jackie!!!!" i said breaking into tears
"It was the only way to stop you from saying any other word and who said i like her" he said acting all cool.
"You dummy you would have just asked me to keep shut,you also told me your self that you like her" i said angrily walking inside in my room and he grabbed my hands
"Damn marco what do you want now" i said angry as he immediately dragged me into a hug. "Star i love you" he said smiling "this must be another terrible joke now isn't it? !!" I said as i stormed off into my room and slammed the door in his face.
Marco's pov
as star slammed the door in my face i went back to my room and looked at the sky "star you must think it's a joke but i truly love you , i will confess to you again tomorrow" i eventually fell asleep.
