"Turn it up, I like this one" Clara laughs from the back seat of my new car. I'd recently passed my driving test so I was taking my two best friends to meet their favourite band and they had the newest album on.
What was their name again? Oh yeah that's it, 'The Vamps'. I was never really into them much. I didn't even know their names.
My names Lottie, the most boring 19 year old you may ever meet. Clara and Evelyn? Well. God knows why they're friends with me.
I moved to Aberdeen just 6 months ago where I settled in quite easily, hence the two friends I already had. Life was ok yet it was missing something? A hobby? A pet? A boyfriend maybe? I don't know.
"We're here!" Evelyn screams clapping her hands from the seat next to me making me jump. I secure the car and hop out, pulling my jumper over my head.
"Im just gonna head over to the toilets. I'll catch up with you two in a sec" I wave my two best friends off and head towards the entrance of the shopping centre.
After finishing in the toilets I walked out checking my phone.
Not looking where I was going, I walk straight into something hard.
At first I guessed it was a post or something so I keep my head down in embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry" A male voice. Oh.
My head lifts to see who I had walked into when I was met with a pair of bright, blue eyes. "Erm.. hi. I'm sorry" laughing nervously, I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear.
The blue eyed boy chuckled. "No worries.."
"Lottie"
"No worries Lottie"
I give a small smile and play with the rope off my hoodie.
"I'm Connor"
Connor smiles and looks down at the black vans on his feet.
"Well it was nice to meet you Connor"
" you too Lottie"
With that I walk back to where my friends were queuing up. A large smile spread across my face as I realise they're already at the front and should be meeting the boys soon.
"What are you smiling at?" Evelyn asks as I approach them. "Nothing"
They both laugh deciding to drop it, probably getting ready to roast me later about it.
We were quickly called to meet 'the boys'. I let my two friends go first and stayed well behind.
I soon found out the curly haired one was named Brad. Ah yes Evelyn's favourite. The well spoken one was james and the tall blonde drummer was Tristan, Clara's favourite.
There was one member left to meet yet I couldn't exactly see him. I waited patiently to get the CD signed when I moved up to see the same blue pair of eyes from earlier.
"Connor?"
"Lottie!"
