Chapter 3-
"..and I'll have a butterfly chicken burger and garlic bread please" I smile to Connor stood beside me.
We'd been nominated to order everyone's food while they chat to get to know each other.
"That's such a boring order" Connor nudges my side and I laugh. I roll my eyes.
"Con you got mash! Who gets mash at Nando's?"
I start to take my purse out my bag before Connors arm stops me from grabbing it. "I'll get these"
I roll my eyes again before letting him pay making sure to make it up to him later.
We walk over to the drinks machine and start to fill up everyone's glasses. "Coke?" I nod before walking back to the table and sitting between Evelyn and the empty seat that Connor occupies.
We all sit down to different conversations, Clara talking to tris and james, Evelyn spoke to Brad while i sat and spoke to Connor.
"Soooo.." Connor starts while I look up to him "how's your mash?" I cut him off.
He laughs. "Shut up". His eyes lit up when he smiled.
It felt like hours I'd been looking into his eyes yet it could only have been at least a minute.
"What are you sta-"
"Uh- hum" Brad coughs from beside Evelyn, my cheeks turn a light shade of pink that now match Connors and everyone around laughs.
My head goes down as Connor chuckles beside me. Not going to lie he makes me feel a bit nervous.
A good nervous.
Connors POV:
Her head dips down as a smile lights up her face.
"I'm glad we met today"
"Yeah, Me too" I smile even wider and finish the rest of my drink.
When we had all finished our food we decided to go back to Lotties for the afternoon as we had a free day and her parents would be out.
We travelled in two cars; in one car was me, Lottie and James. In the other, tris, Brad, Evelyn and Clara.
"Shot gun" Lottie calls meaning I was in the back as james drove.
Lottie gave directions as the other car followed behind and were soon at Lotties home, which wasn't far from my own.
