Dad was on a business trip for 2 weeks. Till then I am living alone with mom in a house big enough for three people. I never lacked of anything because I am the only child of my parents. Even though, I am not spoiled as my parents grew me up well. I am proud to be their child.

I woke up lazily and got ready to go to school. As today is the first day of this semester I chose to wear something cute. I grabbed a black and white crop top, a cute little white skirt and paired it with a pair of white Adidas superstar.

This is literally the first time I am going to school with a new look. Before I used to have the 'nerd look'. Nobody used to even have a glance at me.
I left my hair in soft curls and wore a nude shade lipstick. The magazines have been helping me a lot since I decided the makeover. This is my first step to better myself.
I took my bag and went downstairs. Mom looked at me with the same blue eyes I inherited from her. My mom is a beautiful lady even in her forties. With a few wrinkles on her forehead and nose else wise she is still the young lady my dad had fallen for.
They are totally mesmerizing. She smiled at me and gave me my usual forehead kiss. She smiled at me ''Ready to go to college as a new person from onward?'' I nodded with determination. I always share most of the things with mom. She is the one who always understands me without judging.
I had my breakfast quickly. ''Slow down Sel there is time, no need to hurry'' mom was concerned. I gulped my juice and took the car keys. ''Yes mom, but I got to pick Clarissa on my way. BYEE ''
Clarissa was more like a sister to me. We were together since school. She stucked by my side through the thick and thin. She is literally the inseparable part of my life. She is a very gorgeous girl and may I add one of most beautiful girl in college.
Sometimes people wonder how a girl like her have me as a friend.
Within a five minutes drive I reached her house. If I say she was waiting for me to pick her up, it would be a complete lie. After I horned several times there she came, wearing a similar skirt with floral designs and a purple t shirt. She knows how to dress on point.
