Currently, it was about 5 in the morning and I couldn't fall back asleep for the death of me. I didn't have work until 12. Thank God for me making my own schedule as a hairdresser. I can do nails, weaves, braids, wigs, color, and cuts. Whatever you want I can bless your hair whenever!
Well I guess I should spill a little tea about myself... My name is Kleo Evans and I just turned 20 in March. I'm from around East Harlem. I've never left out of Harlem my wholeeeee entire life. I think that's why my luck with men is so bad. I am used to dealing with the same fucking regular niggas. It's very hard for me to trust men. I've been so hurt in the past. It's becoming so tiring to even date because I just end up heartbroken. Until then it's all about securing the bag honey. I've been working really hard with my Mom so that I can hopefully open my new Salon next year!
But anyways back to the story I was telling you.......
I could hear my mom upstairs running around before she left for work. She never failed to rest herself after my father passed a couple years ago from a heart attack. I wish I could experience a relationship like my parents. They were the definition of black love in my eyes. They started off as friends and eventually became soulmates.
I felt over on the nightstand for my phone. I picked up the phone and it read 9 A.M. I went ahead and got up, showered and went upstairs to see my mom drinking a cup of coffee. My iced coffee and bagel were sitting on the table at my usual spot.
My mom Kim looked up and said, "Good Morning Honey, how did you sleep?"
"Fine, just found myself up earlier than usual..... I heard you up again, Mom I really think you should talk to a doctor. You are going to make yourself sick from this lack of sleeping!"
She just rolled her eyes got up and walked in the other room. This was an everyday thing with her, so I wasn't bothered by her rude actions.
I continued to grab my keys, lock up the door and get in my baby blue Honda. I quickly made it to my best friend Low's house. I was about to pull up in the driveway, when I saw an all-white Mercedes Benz with black rims backing out the driveway. I was looking out the window and saw this cute asssssss nigga driving pass, but I played it off like I wasn't drooling and all the good shit. He was just my type ! He probably has any bitch throwing pussy his way. I just had to get the tea on him.
I ran up in Low's house like a ghost was chasing my ass. I busted up in her room. That bitch was knocked the hell out. I swear that hoe could sleep through a tornado.
I sat my purse and keys down and yelled "Hello hoe! Is that the fine ass nigga that has been blowing your back out?"
Low couldn't help but jump up from the sudden disturbance I caused ! She pulled the covers from over her head with her eyes bugged, she screamed loud as hell "That's my ugly brother Kane. He just got back from doing two years in jail."
I looked at her and said" Well that's very interesting.... Are you trying to hook me up? I know he needs some company." I started laughing hard as hell because we both knew what I was trying to imply.
Low rolled her eyes at me and rolled back over.
I had no clue that Low had a brother. I had always thought she was an only child because she was spoiled as hell like me. Low and I have know each other for five years. But she has kept her personal life very private, which I can respect. Low was a pretty ass girl. My bestie could have anyone she wanted.

I pushed her ugly ass out of the bed. It was time to get to work and I didn't want to be late. Low was a receptionist at the shop where I worked so we would normally just carpool together. Low rolled back over and just stared and me for a minute before speaking her mind.
"I swear your just an evil ass hoe. Kleo I swear it wouldn't hurt to be late. Just let me sleep in for one more hour !" Low sighed.
I rolled my eyes so hard they would probably get stuck like that....
" Now Low you and I both know that hour would turn in to the rest of the morning! Come on bitch get your stinky ass up. We have money to make."
Low got up from the floor mumbling curse words under her breath as she headed to the bathroom to get ready.
"I'll be in the living room love !!!! " I shouted as I glided out of her room.
I wondered what today would hold from me.It has been such a never ending cycle of work and coming home. Just to wake up and start again the next day. Hopefully today would be different. Hopefully.....
