With you around, my days are more then just a single shade of color.

"You've made a lot of dumb choices in your life, but I'm one-hundred percent sure this will go down in history as the dumbest."
"Congrats on graduating to you too, Ren." I narrowed my eyes, but gladly accepted the hug he had initiated. "And just for the record those dumb choices have only ever happened because of your supposable good ideas."
After stepping away from each other he proceeded to wack my cap with edge of his diploma. It would have teetered off had it not been for the countless bobby-pins the hairdresser used in order to keep it in place. I say countless because I lost track after twenty.
"Stop avoiding the topic, Mina." He threw an arm over my shoulder to momentarily pull me closer. "You should have told him the moment you came to terms with it."
At his words, and teasing tone, I pinched his arm. Luckily for him I wasn't able to get a good enough grip because of his gown's sleeve. Unluckily for me it prompted him to wack me again with his diploma.
We childishly mimicked one another before I briefly glanced around the crowd of our classmates, taking note of fact that everyone had the similar graduation gown still draped over their shoulders. Every year our school held the graduation ceremony at its outdoor field, but that hadn't meant the noise level was any less muted.
"Well maybe I haven't come to terms with it." I remarked towards his previous words with a slight shrug of my shoulders.
Once the crowd thinned out enough for us to comfortably move about, we begun to walk towards the location we had set-up with our family to meet up with after the ceremony.
"Stop trying to be fake deep. I've known you for too long." Ren bumped his shoulder lightly against mine as the group we were looking for came into view.
The smile on my face grew as I spotted Ren's grandparents happily holding a conversation with mine. Only for it to drop the moment I saw my parents in the midst of a conversation with Baekho.
Not that I hadn't want them to get along. Trust me I was happy that they did on the night of my exhibit. The real problem was that my parents were the type of people to not procrastinate on discussing something like I tended to do.
And I honestly didn't need them informing Baekho of anything before I did.
"Mom, dad. I see you remember Baekho." I spoke up after noting Ren had consciously ditched me. The three of them smiled, but I definitely refused to give myself the choice of making eye contact with any of them.
"After being the inspiration on the last fantastic piece of your high school career how could we not." My mother gleamed with obvious pride shown not only through her words, but also with the bone crushing hug she had gathered me in.
"Right, um, thanks but your kinda crushing me here, mom." I urged her to release me before she begun to cry happy tears that would no doubt only cease towards the end of the night.
Both my parents were criers that had no embarrassment whatsoever with expressing their emotions. It was a habit of mine to carry tissues with me everywhere because of that.
Unzipping my gown, I dug through the pocket of the jumpsuit I had chosen to wear underneath, and dug out a napkin to hand over to her.
Taking the soft tissue in her hand my mom let out a breathy laugh before finally letting me go, only to switch places with my father.
