Something Real

Chapter 1- The Beginning

There once was a very very sad girl who just recently got over a break up with her asshole of an ex boyfriend. She wasn't over it. She was over him but she missed the feeling of being loved. She felt numb, empty...had suicidal thoughts, but most importantly she felt stupid for letting him know every single piece of her, all her secrets. What's worse is they broke up on her birthday. Arica texted her only 2 true friends Aj and Jake about it. Arica only hung out with guys because every girl she hung out with stabbed her in the back. Aj told her don't  worry everything is going to be okay...just fake that beautiful smile just for today but  tomorrow I'll be there with flowers and chocolates and you can tell me all about it...

Aj'S POV: Yes...Yes...Finally she's single. I miss her. She used to never hang with me anymore, but now. She's available. but she's also vulnerable and I shouldn't take advantage of that.

Jake texted Arica saying anything you need I got you...your always there when my life sucks. So now I'm here for you.

Jake's POV: Finally she's going to be happy and that's all that matters.  Even if its not with me. That guy was a dick and she deserves better. She deserves me. I would treat her way better. Better than that dick.

Arica got out of her bed that morning looked herself in the mirror, "I'm fine" she said as she lied to herself.  Her birthday passed she was able to lie to herself all day but at the end of the night, she looked herself in the mirror again. This time a tear streamed down her face " I'm not fine". It was now 12 AM. Arica was still up more and more tears streaming down her face. The doorbell rung. Arica walked slowly to the door. She was more surprised when she opened the door. A pizza stood at her feet, she picked up the pizza box and stepped outside and softly yelled " HELLO?"  Aj popped from around the corner. I told you I'd be with you tomorrow. There  he was flowers, chocolate and pizza. Arica steadily put the pizza on her patio corner table, then she leaned in and gave him a hug. More tears puddled down her face "Thank you!" she said as her voice broke. Aj responded with a bright smile on his face because as Arica went to bend down to get the pizza he got a boner. A HUGE ONE! Arica trailed him back into the entrance of her house. "Come on in"  Arica turned and said. Aj knew what his intentions were tonight but he also knew he's a boy so his penis had intentions too. They both went up the stairs to Arica's bedroom. They watched movies and ate pizza and chocolates all night. Finally Arica thought she could be happy, just once. Then her mind thought of all the reasons she wasn't happy. Aj paused the movie. "What's wrong?" Aj dawned into her eyes... "I'm not okay, I'm really not these movies aren't helping you were for that second but now...all I want to do is burst into tears." Aj grabbed the side of Arica's face and wiped her tears with his thumbs. "Your gonna be okay." Aj promised her "How do you know?" Arica said looking helplessly into Aj's eyes. Aj's mind and heart raced. He shouldn't but he did. Their lips smashed together. They both knew in that moment this is what they wanted. Aj's boner came back. It was time to decide....but what would decide his penis or his mind?
