Chapter 2 ~ Get to know us

It's almost night time. They don't suspect anything, even though I've heard them talking about Boss. They might be going to sleep soon. All of the people living here.. they aren't allowed out after 9pm. Neither am I. Who knows what's out there.. Boss is the only one who's seen those creatures. He tried to tell me. He burst into tears. No wonder. Well, do you remember the house those girls were staying in? Probably. It wasn't too long ago. Boss absolutely hates that place. It's where his mother - his own mother, had died in. He had seen the creature that had strangled her in her sleep. She was quite sick, so Boss had to check on her often. Once he heard her gasping. He thought she couldn't breathe, so he ran in as fast as he could. All he could see is his mother, there, lying with her eyes wide open and finger marks around her neck. A dark mysterious human figure was next to her, an evil smile on that face. A smile Boss could never forget. How he can live further is impossible. I try to keep him alive. Those girls; they don't know what's coming. 

**11:26pm**

'Abia, Jade, why aren't you guys going to sleep yet?' Emma mumbled. 'Hey, new house! How can we go to sleep?' Abia said. They both rolled their eyes at Emma. Well, Emma isn't that immature one. She's always bustling around. A bit strange honestly. Jade is bubbly. Excited. Swears a fair amount. She's sweet though. Abia; the youngest, also curses a bit. Kind. Nice. Well they all seem kind and bubbly. Emma pulls a blanket over both of them. Scratch that 'not immature'. They don't see those shadows under the bed. Theu don't believe there is someone behind that door. They life the young adult life, drinks around, everything's fine. Real life isn't that perfect. There is always a creepy moment in your life before you die. As they settled down in their beds and had some talks, but they fell asleep quite quickly.

**3:46am**

Jade wakes up with a start. She felt someone looking at her, quite definitely; but what was it? She stood up, looking around. She wasn't scared in the light, with people with her, but when there's no one there and no light, she gets scared. Terribly scared. Jade trembled. What should she do? Wake the rest up, or just go back to sleep? Sleeping seemed to be the best option. Her heart thumping, she clutched her duvet close. She fell asleep, not realizing the hands that had touched her shoulders.
