The hidden twin

Chapter 1- separated by birth

Once upon a time,in the kingdom of Hanover the Queen gave birth to two cute twin girls.The King crowned them with royal names,the first born Ophelia, and the second born, Madeline.

The mood of the castle and the entire town was festive and uplifted. Everyone was watching and anticipating what women they would become,everyone except Patrick, the King's brother. He couldn't stand to see the love of his life happy with his brother. Neverless, he kept his sights close on the Queen and King throughout the years...working as the King's right hand.

One day he overheard, Linda, the maid complained that she had no children of her own. Motherhood was a feat she'd prayed for. That day Patrick saw an opportunity to create trouble. Linda was amazed by Patrick's plan and agreed to help him.

Later that night, before the sun rose and exposed her deed...Linda tip-toed into the nursery, she stood in front of Ophelia and Madeline...and wondered which of the two would be capable of living a life outside the castle.

The King and Queen were devastated, Madeline was gone, Leaving behind a pool of fake blood. Half of the King's and Queen's blessing was gone.

Months later, no one talked of the incident anymore, stories of what have happened to Madeline...were replaced by more immediate concerns the King had to address to keep the people of Hanover happy.
