Bucky Barnes Catch Up

This is, like, Civil War Buck. Like, he's starting to remember who he is and everything.

The reader is from Wakanda when it comes to Bucky. If you're colored/black (I'm trying not to be racist. I don't think it's working.), you can be a native Wakandan, if you're Caucasian then your parents were scientists.

How It Happened: Bucky was walking around Wakanda with Steve. T'Challa had sent someone after Steve and Bucky continued to walk around. Looking at his feet, Bucky noticed dried bloody footsteps. Deciding to investigate, he followed them backwards since they clearly went away from the crime scene. Bucky saw two bodies, a man and a woman. Based on the rings, they were obviously married. Then, Bucky saw the young girl cowering in the corner. She must have been the child of the dead parents. "Hey, you can come out now. I'm not going to hurt you." Bucky said, coaxing the girl out. The young (H/C) girl crawled out, her face was smudged with dirt and there was blood and dirt under her nails. "Did someone kill your mom and dad?" Buck asked softly. "Yes." The child muttered. "Did you see who did it?" "Yes. He had blonde hair and almost black eyes. He came over then ordered another man to kill my parents and take the Vibranium they were studying." The youngster said. "Alright, well, how about I take you to T'Challa and get you all cleaned up?" Bucky asked. "Okay." The little girl grabbed a small trunk that had clothes in it. Bucky saw her name inscribed into the trunk. "(Y/N). That's a pretty name." He said. "Thank you. What's your name?" (Y/N) asked. "My name's Bucky." BUcky took you back and you got all cleaned up. He also convinced Steve and T'Challa to let him "keep you".
