Hey Readers!

Okay, so this is my first story/book/whatever,  so take it easy on me! This is a Phan story about, well,  Phil and Dan of course! If you don't watch their videos on YouTube but would like to then their YouTube names' are danisnotonfire for Daniel Howell and AmazingPhil for Phil Lester.  If you like Nash Grier or Zoella and people like that then you will probably like Dan and Phil! They're just two funny adorable British guys that are best friends and all their fans think they should date! But, sadly,  we all know that Dan is about as straight as a rainbow slinky;). But, yeah, I hope you enjoy!

                                                                     Chapter One:"Now"

Phil's POV:

Phil Lester opened his blue, diamond-like eyes to see the tanned face of the women called "Mummy" smiling down on him. She too had eyes that shone like glowing sapphires, and a warm smile that made Phil feel so comforted and safe. The ends of her short choppy blonde hair tickled Phil's round, chubby face. He giggled and instantly reached out his clenched fists towards her. Mummy scooped her big, protective hands under his tiny body and carefully lifted him out of his cot.

Phil loved his cot, it was sunshine-yellow and there was an adorable lion motif on the headboard. He also had large lion toy that he snuggled up with before falling into a slumber.

Mummy held Phil close to her chest, cradling him in her long arms. It was almost like she was trying to protect him from the bacteria in the air.

"Sophia you're smothering him."

Mummy turned around to face the owner of the voice. Her close friend, Mrs. Howell who only lived next door, was standing in her living room. Mummy glanced at the clock on the mantelpiece.  It was two o'clock in the afternoon, Mrs. Howell had obviously come for their usual chat and coffee that she came for every Saturday.

"I'm not smothering him, I just don't want to drop him." Mummy beamed at her friend before gesturing for her to sit down.

Mrs. Howell crossed the room and sank into the armchair by the window. "What did you name him again?"

"Philip, hold on, I need to get the kettle on. Do you mind holding him for a minute?" Mummy slowly bent down, carefully slipping Phil into Mrs. Howell's cupped arms.

Phil gazed up at this new women's face. She had brown hair and black eyes that penetrated Phil with their stoney glare. Her smile looked forced and she smelt different from Mummy. Instead of smelling like sweet milk and Dove shower gel like Mummy did, she smelt of strong choking perfume that burnt Phil's nostrils.  She even felt different. Her arms were boney and uncomfortable, and she didn't hold him as close nor as tight. Phil decided that he didn't like this brown-haired Mummy and that she was not a women to cross.

"Right, here we are!"

It was the voice of Mummy.

"Thanks Sophia," Mrs. Howell shifted her hands and suddenly Phil felt himself being raised up into the air.

Another pair of arms slid themselves around his body,  and he suddenly found himself back, safe and sound, in Mummy's arms. She clutched him close to her heart, almost as if someone was about to snatch him off her and take him far away.

"Are you and David considering having kids of your own?" Mummy asked Mrs. Howell,  her chest vibrated against Phil's body as she spoke.

"I'm not sure. I mean, we're not really ready and what if I mess up? We've only got one shot at being a parent. "
