Chapter three

Hey readers, sorry I updated so late but I have been busy this whole week but hope you guys enjoy

The weekend went by fast and it was already Monday. I still had three hours till my shift started. I was home alone and bored because Allie was out with some friends. I couldn't believe this is my first time actually working at a real job i'm so nervous what if I don't know how to make a specific drink or I spill something on someone. Aghhhh.

For the 3 hours I still had all I did was get ready. I straightened my hair then applied some foundation then I applied mascara and some lip gloss. Then I got a message from Allie.

Allie❤️:
> Hey, hope everything goes well. Good luck. Love you babe😘

Me:
< thanks. Ily too😘

Allie❤️:
>I'll come by and pick you up so don't take your car

Me:

It was then 7:45 pm and I needed to go if I wanted to get there in time and make a good impression on my timing. So I put on a black shirt and jeans I had bought from Prada the other day when I went shopping with Allie. Then I put my black slip on guess shoes. After checking myself for the third time in the mirror I called a cab.

When I got in the cab I went on my social media. After checking all my social media I then realized I was in front of the bar.

I got off and payed. I stood in front and told myself I got this. I went inside the bar and then to the front of the counter and asked the woman if she could go tell the manager that the new bartender was here.

5 minutes later the manager was walking towards me.

"Hey..." he said.

"Mikaela remember" I said shaking his hand.

"Oh yeah! And you too. Ok well over there is the spot where they serve the drinks with alcohol make sure the people show you their ID don't give kids underage drinks with alcohol and you got that too right" the manager said looking at the stranger who was standing next to me.

"Yeah I got it" the stranger said shaking his head.

"Sorry what's your name" the manager said.

"Oh I'm Caleb" Caleb said.

"Ok I'm Ben the manager well let's get you guys started" Ben said.

We were about to walk away and make our way to the little spot where they make drinks.

When Ben says "Oh one more thing the other bartenders will help you out with anything you don't get or know how to do. I have informed them to help you two out. After your shift come see me please."

"Okay got it" Ben and I say at the same time.

3 hours later...

The past 3 hours have gone good I mean I have made some mistakes but I'm getting the hang of it. While on the other hand jerk Caleb is like a professional at this it looks like he has so much experience. I have made a new friend her name was Tasha she is the only one who has been helping me out while the rest bartenders have been looking at me weird like they never seen a white rich girl work. Ughhh their extra.

When I look towards the door I see Allie coming. Yay finally!!!

"Hey cutie!!!" Allie says.

"Hey" I say.

"What's wrong" Allie says.

"Nothing besides all these bartenders looking at me all weird" I say.

"Probably because they see a cutie working that is not suppose too" Allie says.

"Nope I'm sure it's because I'm the only "rich looking chic working here" I say rolling my eyes.

"Your damn right" Caleb says walking past me. I hate him he's so annoying.

"Don't say that it's not true look that other girl is white as you probably not that rich but still and don't listen to that dumb egg he's just mad your such a cutie and he's a stubborn dumb egg" Allie says make me laugh a little. She always says funny names because she doesn't like cursing.

"Come on girly ask if you can go on your break and I'll buy you food cause I know that makes you happy and I want to see you cheered up" Allie says.

"Ok give me a second" I say.

I go up to Tasha and ask her "hey I was wondering if I can go on a break or something cause I'm really hungry"

"Oh yeah of course! I totally forgot to tell you, you have a break for 30 minutes but just make sure you come back within the 30 minutes you have" Tasha says smiling.

"Ok thank you see you in 30 minutes" I say walking away.

"Let's go" I say grabbing Allie by the hand and pulling her out the bar.

30 minutes later...

"Wow that was some delicious food now back to work" I say.

"Yeah that was. I'm going to go sit over there and just wait till you shift is over" Allie says.

"Kk" I say.

It is now 12:40 the rest of work went pretty good. Finally, I'm tired I'm so ready to take a nice warm shower and then go to sleep. I say bye to Tasha. Then I start walking towards Allie who is waiting for me and I tell her to give me a sec because I needed to talk to Ben.

I walk into Ben's office when I realize Caleb is already in here.

"Hey Mikaela I was just telling Caleb here that you guys are dressed good and I want you guys to dress like that every time you come to work also I will be needing you both here Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays the same hours as today. Is that okay?" Ben says

"Yeah that's fine because I have class in the mornings only" I say.

"Ok good. Now how about you Caleb" Ben says turning from looking at me to looking at Caleb.

"That's good" Caleb says.

"Great!! Ok so you guys will be getting paid $13 an hour and will be getting 30 minutes of break. And that's about it. So do you guys got any questions?" Ben says.

"No I'm good" Caleb and I say at the same time.

"Ok bye see you guys on Wednesday" Ben says.

As I was walking out the door Caleb says bye "cutie" I just ignore him and roll my eyes and mumble "jerk".

I yell to Allie let's go from where I'm standing and we walk out the bar and head home when we get home a take a warm shower when I get out I'm so tired and I go to Allie's room and say goodnight ily and I walk to my room and as soon as I lay on my bed I fall asleep.
