The bell rang indicating that it was time for lunch, I didn't eat much this morning considering I was zoning out, to say I was hungry would be and understatement. Towards the end of class my stomach growled so loud everyone looked at me, I wasn't embarrassed or anything I just looked at everybody with my eyebrow raised, clearly asking what they were looking at even the teacher had a little smile. As soon as I walked out into the hall I was met with Tyler.

" Hi" he said with a smile

" Hi, what are you doing" I asked clearly confused.

" I just thought I could walk to lunch with you." he asked then looked nervous " Is that okay?" I smiled

" Yeah but we should go now because I am starving." he just chuckled and we were on our way, as we were walking I seen the dude who had pushed me up against the wall, I could feel my heart beating faster but I kept on walking and didn't act like I was afraid even though I was. I didn't want it to be to noticeable but I took a tiny step towards Tyler and kept walking until we passed him. I looked up and already seen Tyler looking at me with a smile and a look in his eye I couldn't make out. I turned my head forward and tried to hide a blush. I wanted to ask him about him and Cassidy but I didn't want it to come out as if I was jealous, but before my brain can react my mouth opened up.

" So you and Cassidy now huh." I said with a slight smirk knowing well enough he was going to deny it. He stopped dead ass in his tracks and looked at me, out of nowhere he busted out laughing I was very confused by his sudden out burst but soon I felt my lips pull into a smile, I have never heard a more beautiful sound in my entire life, it made my heart flutter knowing that I was the cause of his laugh, the sound it self caused heat to pour through my veins feeling like I was going to explode with such happiness. He was crouched down holding his stomach one hand on his knee, it truly was a beautiful sight. I looked around still with a smile on my face, everyone looked shocked and not necessarily confused, I looked back at Tyler he looked back at me and had the biggest smile on his face wiping a tear from his eye, he sighed his laughter dying down.

" You really got me there, my god." he said shaking his head " but no we aren't why, you jealous" he said teasingly

" Ha, oh baby you wish." I didn't realize what I said until it left my mouth, I looked into Tyler's eye, he almost had an adoration glint in his eye but also a mischievous look.

" i'm sorry, I didn't mean that, it just slipped i'm sorry." I said while biting my lip with a sheepish smile. Tyler looked at my lips and what almost sounded like a growl came from his mouth, it was hot it to say the least, it made me heat up immediately and my core ache.

" Don't do that." he practically growled I looked around still a blush on my cheeks I noticed everyone was gone and now it was just us. I looked at him and got an idea

" Don't do what, baby?" I said while biting my lip and looking at him with the most innocence eyes I could do. He growled and pushed me up against the wall, I couldn't tell you that it wasn't sexy because it sure as hell was, he leaned down to my ear and groaned

" You know exactly what i'm talking about, that fact you are on you period, biting your lip, acting innocence just won't do." he lightly nipped my skin making want to moan so instead I closed my eyes and bit my lip. I could feel my core aching, the fact I was on my period didn't do me justice, then I remembered what he said.

" Wait how do you know that i'm on my period?" I questioned, when he brought his head to make eye contact I gasped his eyes shifted into a gold and stayed liked that.

" Your eyes." I couldn't look away even if I wanted to, that's when it all came together, the mates, the impressive sense of smell, the pull, the eye color, he was one of them. It feels like I couldn't breath, I just kept looking at him I could see his lips moving but I couldn't hear what he was saying, me finding out what I am and now this.
