Chapter 8 - He's Different

We arrived at the public market and we decided to meet up after 2 hours. The manager and his wife left to go do there shopping, while we went to go due are own.

SC: What should we buy?

Y/n: Just anything we can think of that's edible, that can taste good, and that's not junk food.

SC: How about we get ramen.

Since you were kind of ahead of him you turned around and glared while nodding your head side to side.

SC: What's so wrong with ramen.

Y/n: Eating ramen every time you guys are to lazy to cook (5/7 days a week) is not healthy.

SC: Oh...

Y/n: "I really hope you marry a good cook on day", you said while walking over to a fruit stand.

SC: .....

All he did was stand right beside you while you picked some fruit.

SC: Are you good at cooking by any chance?

Y/n: "Yeah, I love cooking", you said still  picking some fruit.

SC: Then I think I'll be fine.

You did a confused face but before you could think much about it the owner of the fruit stand asked you if that was all you were buying.

Y/n: "Oh...just this thank you", you said while handing her the fruit you picked.

Owner: I'll go put this in a bag for you.

Y/n: Thank you

The owner took the fruit you picked and went to place it in a bag. After that you saw a stand that sold  all different kinds of spices.

Y/n: Hey I'm going to buy some seasoning for chicken, so you wait for the owner to come back with the fruit.

SC: Okay

You walked over to the stand and picked the type of seasoning.

While Y/n walked of I waited for the owner to come back.

Owner: Where did your wife go?

SC: My wife?

Owner: Oh are you two not together then?

SC: Oh....yes she's over there....where newlyweds, so I'm still getting used to us being married.

Knowing Y/n she would have killed me for lying, but since she's not here to correct me meet as well enjoy it.

Owner: It must feel nice to have such a pretty wife, and one that knows her way around the kitchen.

SC: Thank you, I'm also glad I chose her.

Owner: Since you two are such a sweet pair I'm giving the fruit for half the price.

SC: Oh you don't have to do that.

Owner: Just think of it as a small gift.

SC: Thank You.

Once I finished paying I walked over to S.coups who was now walking over to me.

Y/n: What were you talking about with the owner?

SC: Nothing much

Y/n: Whatever, we should probably hurry and finish so we can head back.
