Deep in their sleeping minds, they all entered the school, one by one. Jessie walked to the school that she knew she'd be staying in for the next few months. She double checked that she had her art gear, remembering the many coincidences of which she'd paint something, and whatever she painted happened later. This scared her parents and forced her to be moved to this special place. She didn't understand how using creativity to depict the future was a bad thing; if anything, it was relieving to her.
Luke was practically shoved out of his dad's car. He sent a death glare towards his old man, thinking of many horrible things to turn his dad into. Before he could do anything though, his dad sped off, disappearing over the mountains. He thought back to the first time he stole a shadow. He had gotten into a fight with his mother, and in the end, he turned her into bread and watched in horror as his dad unknowingly ate her. He shuddered at the memory.
Jasmine had seen the school in the distance, in her cat form. She saw it as interesting and signed up for it. She believed it'd be better than living with a pack of Werewolves. Today, she pulled her hat further over her ears, as she carried her bag to the front entrance. She had a flash of her parents dying because hunters thought nekos were useless. She shook her head, trying to think of how grateful she was to have her wolf family.
Rain sighed. She felt the great power rising in her as she made her way to the school. She was trying to be first one there. She feared that she would hurt someone. That was something she didn't want to be responsible for. Not another lost life.
Storm got out of his parents car, flicking them off as they drove off. His jaw was set, and he felt as if he was about to loose it. He was infuriated with them. Not just because they still didn't tell him of why Rain, his sister, was taken away, but because they sent him here in fear. They knew he was powerful. They also knew that he was angry.
Jack walked towards the towering, Victorian styled building. Frost spread under his foot with each step. He didn't feel angry about anything, nor did he feel sad. He just felt lost without the help of his sister. With his strong power with ice, he was afraid to hurt someone, but his sister always helped him with that. But now, he had to learn to help himself.
Lucas hung up on his parents, as he approached the school. They had called him to make sure he got there okay, but soon, it all broke out into another fight. Lucas wore a crazy hat, that was the ideal, typical hat that you'd think normal wizards wore. Lucas is a wizard, yes, but truth be told, wizards saw it as mockery to wear those things. It made him laugh though; he liked to be weird and different. He thought of all the crazy, fun, wild adventures he was about to have in his new home with new people.
Violet stepped up to the school, a smile on her face. She was tired of living alone and decided it was time to be where she belonged. With people like her; people with special powers. Despite her fear of fire, she was addicted to spreading her flaming wings and flying. And that's exactly what she did. She sent a signal that, not only told everyone of her arrival, but of the fact that she was like the rest of the "special" people.
Everyone looked at her in admiration. Jack hid from the flames, his eyes widening. If he touched even a single flare, he could melt. He still watched her though, admiring the ease of her gliding across the sky. Violet let out a loud screech, making everyone wince.
Luke shook his head, squinting his eyes up at her. He was the first to walk in. Everyone else stayed behind though. Minutes passed, but it felt like an hour, before Violet landed, putting her wings back. The 6 kept their eyes on her.
"What? Never seen a Phoenix before?" Violet questioned. Everyone looked away, shaking their heads. She put on a satisfied smile and marched inside, the others following. They all never knew that being here would cause so many surprises; surprises that were more surprising than a Phoenix flying high in the sky and setting it to flames on the first day.
