8 Years Later. Hani POV

"Jimin, Jaemin come here please!" I called out to my kids.

Today is their first day of school and I swear I couldn't be any more nervous.

I heard their footsteps coming down the hall and in a few moments they were standing in front of me.

"Yes, mom?" The twins simultaneously said.

"Come on kiddos let's put your shoes on. We have to go now or else you'll be late for your first day of school." I said in my mommy voice.

Whilst the kids were putting their shoes on I said, "Don't forget Yunhyeong appa will pick you guys up today after school so make sure you only leave with him okay?"

"Ooh, I like appa! He's really nice and gives me cookies!" Jimin says while She ties her shoes.

"Oooh me too! He always plays soccer with me!" Jaemin follows suit.

"Alright, out we go now. Hold mommy's hand." I said to Jaemin. He grabbed my hand and then grabbed his sister's hand.

As we entered my car I got a phone call.

"Hello?"

"Hey babe how are you?" Oh, it's Yunhyeong.

"I'm good. How's work going? Don't forget that you're picking up the kids after school okay? They get out at 2:45." I remind him.

Once I turn on the car the call transfers to the car via Bluetooth. Hands-free mode is the fucking best.

"I know I know don't worry. It's going well. The girls have a photo shoot in about an hour and I'm also trying to schedule them to perform on M-Countdown for their comeback. Maybe later once they're asleep we can have a little fun. Babe I'm for real I'm gonna eat that pu–" "BABE THE KIDS ARE IN THE CAR. THEY CAN HEAR YOU SHUT UP!" I cut him off.

"OH SHIT- um I mean crap sorry.. hey kiddos." Yunhyeong says.

"Hi, appa." The twins say simultaneously. "We'll see you after school."

"Ne. Take care of each other okay? Jaemin always protect your sister alright?"

"Okay, appa. Byeeee"

"Bye guys. Bye babe I'll see you later." He says.

"Mhm bye." I say with a chuckle.

Yunhyeong's POV

After I hung up with my fiancé my friend says, " Hyung, why do those kids call you dad when you're not their real dad?"

"I've known them since they were 2 and I started dating Hani since those kids were 3. I guess they think I'm their dad since I've always been around them. It doesn't bother me though; now that I'm gonna marry their mom I'm technically gonna be their dad anyway, well stepdad but still." I reply.

"Oh okay. Dude those kids love you. Whenever I go visit you guys they run up to you and hug the life out of you. Must be nice... I love those kids too but they never do that to me." My friend says with a pout.

"Don't be stupid, the kids really like you too. You just don't come by very often so maybe they're not quite used to seeing you around yet." I say with a soft laugh.

"Mhm, that's it. Alright, let's get back to work before we get nagged at."

I'm baaaaack. Sorry for the long wait. Tbh I've been super busy with school and haven't had the time or the motivation to update, but since I was in the mood to write something I decided to update this for you guys lol.  Now that we're out of the "flashback" part of the story I can slow things down and make this better.

Sorry if there are any typos. I was in the mood to update but I'm not in the mood to edit so this is unedited lol.

Hani is now 24 and is engaged to Yunhyeong who is 26 in this story. Yunhyeong will play the fiancé bc he's my bias in iKON lol HE'S SO FINE OMG.
