Why'd You Do It?

Faith POV:
Me and my Boyfriend, Malak were playing around in the dark at the playground. Of course no one was there cause it was like 1 am.
I sat Down on the slide and he sat behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Ready set GO!", he said as he pushed us both down the slide
I giggled as I quickly got up
"Try and catch me!", I giggled running away from him
"It's on!", I heard him yell from afar
I ran up the other loopy slide.
He ran up the slide too almost about to grab my foot but he missed 😂 HA!
I got off the slide and ran through the play ground and started climbing the monkey bars.
"Faith I hope you know it's easy to get you on monkey bars. You might be a short munchkin but I could still grab you right now", Malak said stating the obvious as he looked up at me
He was right😭😂
"That's what you think", I smirked as I flipped over the monkey bars and climbed over it to the other side
Malak tried the jump up and get me but I was too high off the ground.
We are so childish
I started running back again and slide down the slide, but little did I know that Malak was right underneath the slide.
He caught me, picked me up, and spend me around.
I laughed really hard
He put me down once we made it over to the swings
I sat down on one and he got behind me and pushed me.
He's the best boyfriend ever😍😘❤️ i don't know what I'd do without him. We've been together for 4 years.
Ever since 8th grade and now we're about to be Seniors in high school😏😊😀
He stopped pushing me and sat down on the other swing beside me
"Wheeeeee!", I said laughing as I flew back and fourth into the air
Malak chuckled but than had a serious face
"Uh Faith we need to talk", he said looking and sounding weird, uncomfortable, and worried
"Um ok. What about?", I asked as I stopped myself from swinging to hard and fast
"About...us", he said pointing to me and him
"What about us?", I asked looking at him with now serious eyes
"Um well ya see...listen faith. I love you but....I just can't", he started
"Wh- what do you mean?", I asked looking confused
"What I mean is......I'm breaking up with you", he said slowly, now looking down playing with his fingers
"What?!", I said as my throat started to choke and my eyes started to burn
"Yeah I'm sorry Faith....", he said
"But why Malak? I thought that we were good....I thought that we had a great relationship. What happened?", I asked still broken from what just happened
"Things just happen....for a reason. I'm sorry faith I didn't wanna make you feel this way...but my mood just changed. I'm sorry and maybe we can just be friends.", Malak said nervously bitting his lip like he wanted to cry.
He stood up and slowly walked away
"MALAK?! MALAK?!", I screamed as he continued to walk away from me
I ran fast up to him, and stood in front of him
"Is there someone else?", I asked as I wiped my tears
He looked down and said nothing
"IS THERE?", I yelled
"NO! Just. I'm sorry....love you", he said but mumbled the last part
I kissed him on his lips and he kissed back
"You don't have to do this", I said as I broke the kiss and looked at him deep in his eyes
"....I think I do....I'm sorry", he said he walked away fast leaving me behind by myself.
Confused, hurt, broken, and lonely
I started crying again as I ran the other way back home.

When I got there my parents were in the living room watching TV. Cuddled up on eachother in a blanket....something me and Malak did.
"Hey faith...how-", my mom started but I cut her off when I ran upstairs now starting to cry louder. I ran in my room and closed and locked my door.
I plopped on my bed and cried and cried into my pillow.

What changed him? Why'd he did what he did? Is there really somebody else?
