mina shed a final tear before taking a deep breath. she was ready... and she knew that there was gonna be no turning back.

her breath was shaky as she inched her feet forward.

"breaking news," the news reporter took a breath, "21 year old choi mina has jumped off of the PRC business building and is now in critical condition at the hospital. we will update you on this story once we get more information."

jimin sat on the couch staring at the tv in shock, tears welling at his eyes. "why would she do that?" he mumbled to himself while setting his head in his hands.

"hi baby im home! how's- wait why are you crying?" yuri set her things down and quickly took a seat next to her boyfriend.

jimin sniffled and got up, "sorry i have to go."

"im here for choi mina?"

"room 372."

jimin walked down the long hallway biting his lip in nervousness. he hasn't seen mina for the past 3 years, and who knows how she'll react if she saw him again.

as jimin reached the room, a doctor closed the door behind him, taking a deep breath.

the doctor saw jimin and asked, "are you park jimin?"

jimin was surprised that the doctor asked that, but still replied. "yes... why?"

"im sorry." the doctor handed him a white envelope and walked away.

the front of the letter had his name written on it and just seeing that and knowing it was from mina made tears threaten to roll down his cheeks.

jimin sniffled a bit as he opened the letter.

why didn't you remember me?
