Chapter 5

Kang Haneul's pov

I quickly got off my car as I entered this cafè my investors wants me to meet in, upon entering, I quickly looked for them and luckily they're already here

"Hi Mr. Seo, I'm so sorry for being late" I said as I sat down infront of him

"Don't worry, I just arrived" He said as he took the papers out of his suitcase

"Here are the papers, you just need to sign here" He said as I looked at the paper seein the blank line underneath, after reading it, barely even understanding it, I quickly agreed to it and signed the papers, he then retrieved the papers and stood up as I did the same before shaking his hand

"Thank you Ms. Kang, I hope to see you again" He said

"Sure, thank you" I smiled as he left already, I sat down again as I glanced at my watch

"I still have an hour before my little meet with Jin" I said sighing

"Maybe I should get my cake first huh?" I said as I clasped my hand and walked to the cashier but in the way there, I bumped into someone making me fall into his arms

Sounds romantice....

But he quickly let go of me

"Watch were you're going" He said dusting off his coat, I looked up to him and HOLY FREAKING FREAK, THATS JUNGKOOK FOR FUCK SAKE!

"Uh sorry" I said as I bowed infront of him multiple times

"You're Kang Haneul right?" He said as I mentally cursed for letting him recognize me

"Y-Yeah?" I said as I slowly faced him

Damn, he really has those features if you ask me

"You're Kang Haneul right? From KHan company?" He asked

"Uh yeah, my apologies for bumping into you" I said as I bowed again

"I heard we're going to be business partners, and I want to settle some things with you, can we do it today?" He asked as I bolted my head up

"T-Today? As in now?" I said as he nodded his head not giving me any emotions

"Uh yeah sure, it's not like I don't have anyone to meet today" I sarcastically remarked as he slightly smiled but soon disappeared just for a matter of seconds, he looked around and saw a vacant table at the end of the cafè, upon following him, I let out a big sigh knowing that I need to give him a good impression since I need to "tame" his stone cold heart

"Do you like anything to drink?" He asked as I shook my head

"Are you sure?" He asked again

"I'm fine"

"Ok then, so about the bus-" he was cutted off when my phone rang, I nervously fished my phone out of my coat as my hands trembled trying to see who the heck was calling

It was Seokjin...

"So are you going to end that or not? It's kinda annoying" He said as I sighed pushing the lock button as I ignored his call

I swear I'll die single

"S-sorry for the inconvenience, please continue" I said as I fiddled with my fingers under the table trying to calm myself

"So yeah, as I was saying, I know that you're aware that we'll be having this business trip that will be held in Maldives and I know that you're also aware of being in a business trip with 6 other CEOs which is technically men, I just want to discuss some things with you about the trip.." Jungkook said as I kept nodding from every word he says, well not technically, and as the time passes by, he didn't stopped blabbering about some things that we should do on the trip, I secretly glanced at my watch and seeing that I only have 10 minutes before meeting Seokjin, I quickly stood up making him startled over my actions

"You're just blabbering about stuffs that can be discussed in the day of the trip, so if you can excuse me, I still need to meet a friend" I said quickly leaving the place after seeing his emotionless face as I continuously blushed on the way to my car

"Am I late?" I asked Seokjin as I sat infront of him

"No you're not, sit down" He smiled as I did what he said

"So I saw you with Jungkook on the way here, are you guys close?" He asked as I blushed red because of embarrassment

"N-No, we were just talking about things that is technically business related, nothing special" I smiled as he did too

"Alright, what do you want to eat?" He asked as I looked at the menu placed infront of me

"I'll have a pasta and a glass of iced tea, how about you?" I asked

"I'll have the same" He smiled as he stood up and walked to the cashier to fetch our orders

Jeon Jungkook's pov

"Well that was rude" I said as I my eyes followed her every move while leaving the cafè

"No one has ever done that to me" I mumbled

So should I bother the heck out of her? I'm feeling absurd today

"Let's follow her" I sheepishly smiled to myself as I did followed her until she reached another cafè, secretly entering, I found her seating at the table alone

"Why am I doing this anyways?" I laughed to myself

Well, it's not like I'm feeling absurd everyday so I might over do this a little bit

"Wait-is that Seokjin hyung?" I squinted my eyes to get a better view of the man who was walking towards her table with a tray

"It is him" I said as my eyes grew wide

What the heck is he doing here with Haneul-ssi?

Quickly fishing out my phone from my pocket, I quickly dialed his number
