Chapter 6

Blaze

"Excuse me?" I looked up from my book to see an unfamiliar face. I frowned "uhh yes?" I closed my book a little " I was looking for locker 214?" I sighed " its just down the hall on your right, you will see a locker with hipster sign then next to the locker on the right you will see it " I pointed the hall " alright thank you, by the way I'm Crystal " she said handing out her hand " I'm Blaze nice to meet you " I shakes her hand " me too...well its nice to meet you not me hehe" she chuckled while I laughed a little. She waved and walked out of the library and I sat back down to continue reading my book.

When I read books I feel at peace, especially vampire love stories . I'm very much of a vampire fan. I used to believe I was a vampire when I was young and mom proved me wrong since she was the one who gave birth to me. I wanted to relieve the stress I was having because of what happened in gym class. Seeing that animal again started giving me traumas every now and then. Making me very insecure. I sighed closing the book a little and looking up to the ceiling.

At the gym things did not go well, Bradley ended in detention with him and we had to stop whatever we had to do because of the fight. I looked at my bruised arm with tears. None of this should have if he did not come here. I know why he is here and I just dont want my friends involved. He is very dark and dangerous, I felt relieved when Bradley came out alive because I know how he is.

I packed my things and decided to head out before it gets dark. I walked out to the hall way picking up my pace as I felt followed. I turned around to punch the person behind me only to see Crystal laying on the floor groaning "oh my word I'm so sorry!" I helped her up. She looked deep in my eyes "its ok its good to protect yourself, I should have called you but I forgot your name" I smiled " thank you and I'm sorry again" I said giving her a tissue to wipe the blood " its ok" she said soflty " you dont mind if I walk you home?" I smiled "well my car is at home so alright no problem" I replied holding my bag tightly. She led me out of the building and we started to walk down the side walk.

"So what made you to be in the library for so long?" I looked her and looked down at my shoes " its just something personal that I dont want to talk about" she nodded "and for you to be at school that late?" She looked at me in the eyes. I wonder why she keeps on looking at me straight in the eyes . its very weird but at the same time I kind of like it " well I was actually touring the school before my first day on Monday but I got lost and panicked but then I saw you and relaxed" I smiled at her " its funny how when I keep looking at you I relax" she ran her hand through her small curly afro and looked into my eyes again.

I blushed and looked away. To be honest when I'm curious about someone, I also look at them like that but this time she beat me at my own game. I looked at her to find her still starring at me "dont you know its really rude to stare?" She stopped and turned to me " your eyes just changed" she frowned " what?" I looked at her confused . she reached to remove some hair from my face " your eyes changed " "to what colour?" "Hazel with a hint of lime" I looked at her shocked then took out my phone to looks at myself . she was right and I dont know what is happening to me. Even last night I was walking to the bathroom but I ended up in the bathroom within a second. I thought I was turning to be a vampire but I dont see any fangs " Aren't you the chosen princess of Australia?" I burst out laughing "whaaaa??"I burst out laughing again while holding my stomach. After a few minutes I calmed and look to see an amused crystal " that was a lovely joke now what were you saying?" She smiled amused at me " you must be the chosen princess of Australia" I shook my head no "nah nah that can not happen" she frowned " why not?" I looked at her crazy " hellooooo?? Do you see me right now? I am literally bones, I'm the ugliest thing alive and who would want such a weird nobody as their princess?" She pulled me close with one hand and leaned to my ear " you are very perfect for a princess. If you dare bad talk yourself like that again. I will kiss the living hell out of you here in public"

My eyes widen as she let go of me. My mouth was open and dry . I didn't know what to say or how to react but what just happened sure gave me some weird emotions. She smirked and started walking again while pulling me so that I'm not left behind "Oh can I have your number if its ok with you?" She asked and we exchanged numbers. Soon we were standing outside my house " I should go change and I could also walk you home?" I suggest "nah my house is just next to the one across your home" she said looking into my eyes again. I felt really happy to be close to her but at the same time I feel curious about her " so I'll talk to u later?" I nodded with a smile. She kissed my forehead and walked home.

I walked in the house feeling very weird in a good way. Before I walked up the stairs I saw dad folding his arms while looking at me intensely. I sighed "dad no its not what you think and why are you stalking me?" Dad gasped widening his eyes "me?? Stalking? Where? I wanted to tell you about the bed you did not make this morning you lady" he walked down the stairs and continued ranting about how I should look after myself more. I walked up to my room to the bed already made. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. I did the bed so I dont recall leaving the bed like that.

I shrugged it off and fell on the bed sighing. I started to think about how life has been for me. How weird things had been and- *BOOM* . I woke up startled and saw a creature in front of me "hehe my bad for crashing" a small cute looking wolf said to me. I shrugged and fell back to sleep.
