There is a reason for everything.
Have you ever thought about the fact that when people that have Down syndrome they are happier than the average person? They learn to appreciate life more. The same thing occurs when someone is deaf, or blind. When a cat is born they are born blind unlike dogs and animals. Very few are born blind. As I said before everything is for a reason.Cats are blind when they are born, for a number a reasons, one is, because they then learn to appreciate life more, they learn not to judge a book by its cover and to trust in humans and their mother to keep them alive, after all they are blind and helpless in a world full of other animals striving to survive.
Dogs, they are born with their eyes open, meaningless. But also ready to play and bond with their owner, and to be loyal and trusting. But they also don't learn to appreciate life. Always wanting something. Food, affection, attention, to go for a walk and any other things a dog could ever ask for.
A Cat savors their food eating up until their full using self control.
A Dog eats everything in one sitting, only to find its self puking it up 10 minutes later. A Dog thinking, my owner can't resist my cuteness, and I will just beg and beg her until she finally feeds me more expensive gravy and pot roast. A Cat thinking... I only have one fish to last me 3 days, my owner will not be there to feed me, so I might as well savory 3 bites of fish everyday.
A Cat her eyes full of meaning, bursting with energy, to mellowness, with sparks of rainbows dancing next to their constantly changing pupils. Full of meaning, independence, but also lovingness, kindness, and forgiveness. Their eyes and expressions, hard to decipher. No one ever knowing if they are in pain, or love.A Dog their eyes cute, mellow or fearful. Yet meaningless. Dogs eyes can also be full of fear, and love. But no extraordinary colours or hidden meanings like cats. Usually mellow browns or cloudy blues. Their expressions ¥|meaningful yet so... confident. Not hiding any knowledge inside of them that humans don't know.
Your Dog, Poops in the middle of your nice furnished yard, leaving dead grass in the middle of your lush, nice yard. Not caring, that it might hurt your back trying to pick up 30 different poops in different places.
Your Cat, she poops and pees in the litter box, digging a small hole and then going, not daring to poop outside the litter box, unless it is dirty. She cares about the fact it may stink up your room, she cares about the fact you work hard around the house.
Cats can be trained to go pee in the toilet.
Dogs simply think, it's too much work, and rather poop on nice grass.
Your cat, she only spends time with you when she craves affection.
Your dog is always with you in your darkest of times...
There for you to cry over heart break.
There to protect you from stranger at midnight.
There to lick your fingers when they are covered in whipping cream. Is there a reason for this?
When you look back on your life you notice that while your cat was sleeping and your dog was awake cuddling while watching a horror movie.
He was silently laying on your lap, being stroked while your cat was over in the windowsill, unloved, untouched and hungry. Your Cat while scheming to get food let's her eyes wander to the dog, the dog however is thinking of other things like...
I'm hungry.
I want my belly rubbed.
I want a treat.
When I die my owner will be left heart broken, without me. I help her through the darkest of times, only to watch her cry as I slowly drift away. And in heaven watch her cry alone even though she still has loved ones I will make our bond so strong that no Ax or fire could ever burn it. She will shut out everyone else in her life and be left with lots of other friends and
family. But who cares? I got a dog bone and belly rub yesterday life couldn't get any better. For me. At least.A Cat will hide pain, vets unable to tell when they have a broken leg or not, or when they are about to die, they may act mellow or hide from their owners not daring to let them see their state of pain. Cats hide how they feel for a reason. Possibly not to put stress on their owner? A Cat as they are watched by their owner while putting her to sleep silently closes her eyes, purring, letting her last bits of positive energy ring through out the room.
Dogs show their pain, not bothering to hide it from their owners, not caring if it may bring their owners pain to see them at a state before death. Their owners watching their dogs whimper and cry as their put to sleep.Your cat was made to live longer than a dog for a reason.
Maybe it was to help their owners through heartbreak and to get back up on their feet after the dog dies, and before they die?
Or maybe it was to let the title sink in-- of the unaffectionate cat, because they didn't want to spend time with you and give you love when you have other friends to give love too. They didn't want you to continue shutting everyone out to grieve the loss of your dog. The cat would then be left with the title the unaffectionate cat because she was simply trying to get you to crave love, and attention for someone outside the house of a Cat and a sad owner. A Cat never getting credit for the fact she didn't leave without helping you get back up on your feet. A Cat didn't want to let their owner cry on them, because it was just like the dog. Another story to remember as she passes away, and another thing to cry over. Or maybe your cat didn't want affection? Maybe she was just antisocial, so what's wrong with that? Aren't some humans and dogs antisocial too?
You would then spend the rest of the month getting over the lose of your dog, only to find your self everyday ignoring your cat, and crying again and again staring into the photo you took with your dog.Your Cat rests peacefully letting your life grow to be as it was, sitting on the window sill as flys to Weasles to rodents had been caught as a gift to their owner to help them recover from the third degree burn their owner had just experienced. Your Cat never asking for anything except the essentials of life, maybe a little food every now and then and water.
Have you ever thought about the fact that although a dog is loyal he may lead you to feel heartbroken? To feel alone?
Maybe the reason a Cat chooses to snuggle in her own time is because she doesn't want her owner to remember that she was there when she was needed. It was just another sad story to tell at your cats funeral, a story to remember her as, to create more tears, and heartbreak.
Your cat wakes you up in the morning not to get food but to keep you on your daily schedule of life. Not letting you ever fall behind your life's schedules even when your only friend died the past day.Your cat is there to wake you up every morning to give you motivation, and let you know that you shouldn't spend your days complaining over a third degree burn, because sleep and care is the only cure.
Have you ever heard of the stories, where a cat scratches your eyeball? And leaves you blind? There's a reason for everything.
When your blind you learn to appreciate the world, not judging your friend by their looks, to appreciate your house not by the size or beauty but the comfort. Why are cats famous for being mean?
Don't dogs hurt people too?
Cats don't deserve a hurtful title because a few have ended up scratching people.
Dogs somehow get away with hurting, ripping and biting people.
Can't a Chow bite your face off too?
It's not only cats that somehow end up hurting you, but dogs too.
When your cat dies you are left knowing that they are unaffectionate. That you will never get one again. That they are just expensive little critters that crawl around your house scratching everything.
But of course you don't come to realize the fact that they helped you through the tuff times not asking for treats, or affection, or to be brushed, unlike you dog.
But secretly, and stealthily they had always been there for you in a DIFFERENT way than dogs. Why do we have to put down Cats to raise up the loyalty of a Dog?
Why do we have to shame all cats for one being affectionate?
Both are living, both can be dangerous, affectionate, needy, loving, mellow, hyper and annoying... but why do we have to choose one? Why not just love them all?
(If it sounded like I was favoring cats, and saying they were better, I was trying to level the playing field.😉)
