The Warning

Travel lightly, let go of the past,

suit up tightly, beware of the attack.

Be careful who you let in, they can undermine the right track

Guard the doors you leave open, the shadows lurk behind your back.

Battles of the mind are far more,

dangerous than tangible weapons and armies drenched in blood from war;

they are beautiful, dark and complex, working behind closed doors.

Into your mind subtle fingers weave,

sometimes dealing in things man was commanded to leave.

Fabrications, doubts, confusion and fears,

they thirst to see you fall, thirst for your tears.

Fabrication of lies and an all encompassing dependency,

be careful little one, beware of their trickery.

Protect yourself, let no one tie you down with false impressions.

Be careful of your words, and whom you speak to, use them with discretion.

See behind the smoke and mirrors and dissect the illusion.

Trust the Guide and go forth on your mission...

He will provide for you, the courage that you lack.

Travel lightly, don't look back...

Always be prepared little one, suit up tightly...anticipate the attack.
