The world will first build you up,
Make you think you matter,
Your presence is enough to change the course of time,
Enough to make illusions shatter.
You should know that you are not made of metaphors,
Nor lies,
Neither do you hold galaxies in your soul,
Nor stardust in your eyes.
The world will then beat you down,
Taking away every ounce of worth, you once had no doubt feeling.
Make you think that you are nothing but waste of space,
You are ugly, you are unappealing.
You should know you are everything you were meant to be,
You are human,
You are art, You are raw beauty.
Not perfection, But better,
You are you.
- Clementine.
