Griffin was screaming and crying in her sleep so I woke her up.
"She's dead it's all my fault!"she screamed.
He features softened when she saw me.
"Are you okay baby?"
She shook her head no and cried into my chest.
"What's wrong hun?"
she sniffled which was more a giggle.
"You sound like a grandma when you talk like that."
I let out a deep chuckle. She's so perfect. I let out a sigh how did I deserve someone like her she's everything I'm not I wish I could be everything that she wants and needs.
I'm so lucky! I need to protect her from that rouge, I love her too much to loose her. I cant loose her, I wont loose her! My wolf growls in agreement telling me that he feels the same.
"Greyson?" Her sweet voice woke me from my trance.
"Oh sorry kitten."
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah just uh thinking."
"Okay?" She says but it sounds more like a question.
I sighed, " Honestly its nothing I was just uh..."
"Okay." She said frustrated obviously not believing me.
'We need to mark mate!" My wolf told me.
'She's not ready'
'It'll keep her safe'
'NO!'
'Fine I'll do it!'
Next thing I know I loose control and my wolf Kayne takes over.
"Griffin I've wanted to properly meet you since the meeting." My wolf purred as he looked down at our beautiful mate.
"Kayden?"
"The one and only."
She looked scared.
"I'm sorry Griffin, just remember I love you."
She looked at us with fear in her beautiful eyes.
Before you can say Alexander Hamilton Griffin was pressed against the wall and we were putting our canines in her neck.
Screams after agonizing screams filled the room that hurt my heart.
'What if she never forgives us?' I ask my wolf as he gives me control.
'We did what's best for her.'
