Alec's POV:
"Alec!" I heard, "Alec! Wake up!" I squirmed around in my position and then slowly looked up to assess my surroundings. It looked like late morning, my sister, Robyn, was standing in the doorway and I could hear the slight hum of music from downstairs.
"Alec!!" Robyn yelled, and completely disrupting my little daze. "It's 12:40! You've missed half of Dad's birthday." I cursed to myself and suddenly hopped up, put on my shirt from earlier last night and paced down the stairs.
"Alec," Robyn added, " He's gone out with Mom." I stopped, and then proceeded to walk toward the kitchen. Meanwhile fishing my phone out of my pocket, to wish my dad a happy birthday.
Once I arrived into the kitchen, I could see the leftovers from Saturday Breakfast. The coffee pot was still half full, and still hot, so I poured one for Robyn and I. We're twins, we look nothing alike. I'm clearly a lot hotter than she'll ever be. We've just finished our GCSEs, so we've spent the last week or two celebrating together. It's been good, but it's almost unnecessary to carry on celebrating. Meaning we've procrastinated our homework assignments to the second to last day, so that's all I can do today really.
I hand Robyn her coffee, she opens her mouth to say something, a shrill beep from my phone interrupts her:
Jason: Bro, u free?
Alec: yea, what's up?
Jason: meet me @mine 6pm tonight.
Alec: ok, see ye there m8-----------------
