All my life I've thought my friends were the best,
Never realizing that, like Job, that hadn't yet been put to the test
Losing friends was never easy.
Making friends was always tricky.
Like trying to capture smoke with your hands.
Looking back though I'm glad.
Who knows, maybe if it had
I wouldn't have had you to add.
I've learned that it's better to have less best friends,
Than lots of fake pretends.
It's something I've never experienced with certainity,
Having friends to count on for eternity.
Sometimes it takes a hardship,
To discover a new type of friendship.
