...a little village hidden where no wandering eyes could see it lived a girl. This was no ordinary girl. This girl was a witch with powers you could only imagine. The girl was as beautiful as she was powerful. However the girl had a big secret that no one must find out. Even though she is ruler of her village and its citizens trust her to rule it. You see the secret is that the girl her powers are stolen. A few months ago the girl wandered the woods where she met a stranger in need. This man was not much older than her but a poor commoner. and was carrying a weird object. It was a purple crystal that was bursting with light. Instead of helping the commoner the girl stole the crystal and brought it back to her village. Once back she investigated it and found out about its powers. The crystal's magic could be absorbed by the person who had it in his or hers possession. So the girl did and she gained magic she could only dream of. She was able to feel the magic of the earth, could help crops grow faster so that fruit and vegetables could be harvested earlier than expected. She could control the weather, make it rain if she wanted to or have a nice summer day if she fancied. She was able to help repair broken down buildings with just a flick of her hand.

She boasted about her magic. The girl was already in the public eye because of her immense beauty but now with her powers she was worshipped and feared by many. But the girl with all her power and beauty was lonely. She wanted to fulfil her childhood dreams and marry and have a child of her own. Men travelled to the girl's house to ask for her hand. Most of these men were the mere commoners that lived in the city. She laughed at their attempts to impress her because she, with her beauty and power was far above them. Until one day, a handsome man came to the village asking to spend the day with her. Impressed with his masculinity and status she said yes and spent the day with this man. They walked the gardens and woods of the beautiful village she called her home. After weeks of spending time with this man she started to fall in love with him. He was wise, funny and very kind. She could see herself with him: he was as good looking as she was and he had quite a status that was equal with her magic. She even showed him the powers she possessed.

Until one day when the man had spent the night she woke up to her precious crystal smashed into pieces. All of the sudden her magic was gone. She ran to the woods in desperation and broke down into tears. Being engulfed by sadness she did not hear the stranger approaching her. It was the handsome man she was falling in love with. Right before her eyes he transformed into the commoner she had stolen the crystal from. The man was a powerful warlock. He told her that the day she stole the crystal she had been tested. Because of her status in the village the man wanted to entrust the magic crystal with her. He tested her if she was genuine enough to be entrusted with that kind of magic. She failed when she stole the crystal and he took his own revenge by posing as the handsome man.

She saw the error of her ways and apologised to the man and begged for her magic back saying she would this time appreciate it more and do good in her village. The man looked her into her eyes and saw beyond the tears remorse and lost the girl was feeling. So with heavy hard he this time gave her magic that was not bound to an object. Happy with her magic back she couldn't help but still feel some sort of loss. The man before her she loved but he had betrayed her just as she had when she stole his crystal. She couldn't help but still have feelings for this man even though it was an ordinary man that was standing in front of her. She asked him for another chance and he accepted. He couldn't help and discard the feelings he had developed for her during those weeks. The man and the girl walked back to the village. The girl reflected on her behaviour these past years. Noticed how obsessed she was with her looks and the magic she had stolen. She now wanted to help the poor. Help people in need with her amazing abilities.. And the man? He became her mentor, guiding her through, helping her control her magic. The man and girl needed a lot of time to trust each other again. The betrayal of them both caused paranoia. But eventually they worked through their issues and years later married. Both living in the village, helping the citizens and practicing magic like no one had ever seen before protecting their beloved village against evil...
