Everybody lives their own story, their own chapters
Everybody has their own clock that keeps ticking
But what if that clock gets corrupted
What if you stand on the edge of a bridge over the water
Ready to drop
But someone has played in your cards
They have distracked and also delayed you
But the darkness has already consumed and derailed you
Drugs are what's keeping you from crumbling now
The coke, the cocaine, crap it's got me drained
After some time however, you'll lose that drunk feeling
So you dive back down into the water
You find yourself drowning
Freedom is so close by
But suddenly you can breathe again
The division between you and life is gone again
Yet the escape of life's round the corner again
As you get in the car to drive to your girlfriend
You reallise
Life has finally changed around
A light in your darkness
A smile on your face
Finally after all of those years
You step in your car and start the engine
You turn to the right, suddenly you crash
Flying out the frontwindowglass
As you hit the ground
You also hit the end
After all those attempts to die
Jesus Christ why now
I could literally start to cry
But all I can do right now is curse
It's just my life, or well, it was
And I guess
I'll never know what love was
