Chapter 1: First Day Of School

"Y/N! Could you please get the last box? It's in the porch." I heard mother ask from below. I Went out my new room and rushed downstairs.

Unpacked boxes were scattered on every corner of the house. The interior was simple. Modern wooden planks as walls, simple white framed windows on each side of the living room, a tight kitchen, but it'll do, and blue tiled bathroom located near the kitchen.

I went outside and picked up the small box that was on the porch.

"here it is mom!" I said.

"Thank you sweetie, leave it on the floor... You could continue unpacking your stuff already."

"Mom. Where are our other furnitures?"

"It got delayed. It'll arrive tomorrow... Hopefully.."

"Our furnitures always get delayed.."

I nodded in response and headed upstairs. There were three rooms upstairs, My room, my parents room and a stock room.

I sighed as I entered my small room. There was a built in cabinet on the left side corner, a few boxes, and a white wodden bed stayed right beside the window. I went close to the box were my clothes were and opened it. I brought out my clothes and hanged it in the cabinet. I noticed the various uniforms.

I've never stayed in one place for a long time. We've always been moving due to Fathers job, and because of that I've always been transferring from school to school, and that explains all these different uniforms.

The next morning

I woke up realizing I have to meet new people again...
I headed downstairs and I could already smell breakfast. I sat down on the mat that was set up on the floor.

"Good morning sweetie. We'll just have to eat here while the table and the other furniture hasn't arrived yet."
"Morning mom. Well, yeah. I'm a bit used to it anyway. By the way, Where's dad?" I ate the food that mom served as I asked.

"Well. You know... He went to work early." I nodded and quickly finished my meal and got ready for my first day of school.

I wore my new uniform and shoes. I headed to the kitchen and picked up my lunch box.

"Mom?! I'll head to school now!" I shouted. She went out of the bathroom quickly and approached me.

"Wait for me. I'll just get ready and bring you to school."

"Mom. I'm alright. I can do this. I already have this direction thingy that you wrote for me last night."

"Are you sure?" She asked. I forced a smile at her and nodded slowly.
"Okay then. Off you go. You don't want to be late for your first day of school."
She reminded. I waved and left. I walked going to the main road and rode a bus.

It was a huge school that looked modern and fully renovated. There were a few students walking along with me heading to the entrance of the school.

I think I'm late.

I checked the slip that mother handed to me last night along with the directions of the school.

Room 39 alright. I'll just look for this room..

I looked all around the first floor, but there was no sign of room 39. Then I saw two stair cases heading upstairs, but I wasn't sure wich one would head to room 39. I looked around and scratched my head slightly out of confusion.

I felt a soft pat on my back from behind. I turned my head to see. It was a tall, dark brown haired handsome young fella with huge ears. I turned my body to face him. He was wearing the uniform that all the other boys were wearing. He put his hands in his pocket after tapping me and smiled. Even his eye smile was handsome.
