BOZE

There is a house, bout a block away,

Which I come to pass, almost everyday,

Now a year ago, I came to find out,

There lives a girl, I couldn't be without.

Quick I was, to share my news,

That she had sprung, my romantic fuse.

Then I was told, that I’de be soon to drown,

Cuz I’de fallen in love, with the lady of the town.

They told me she loved crystals and wine,

But I insisted that she’d forever be mine.

For when we kissed, on the shore by a fire,

I wouldn’t believe, that our love would expire.

A year has gone by since we’ve been at sea

Sailed through it all, how could it be?

Now I can see, how I’d been so blind,

For it was all a trick of the mind.

For when you pushed and tore my clothes apart,

You knew how well you were playing with my heart.

Then came along that fateful day,

When I finally suspected foul play.

And as I walked your house in cold sweat,

I knew all along that he was in the closet.

There’s a house I know, ‘bout a block away,

Which I come to pass, almost everyday.

Now a day ago, I came to find out,

There lives a whore, without a doubt.

Quick I am to hold my nose,

Cuz’ I don’t wanna smell the stench of that Boze.
