Episode 2 - The Injected

SCENE 1
(Laura was training in the garden which surrounded the school)
(she was jumping around a dummy hung on the tree, she kicked and punched it, finally, she jumped up so high, displayed her claws then tore the huge dummy into 2 pieces)
(she stood up with her usual frown.)
(she heard a noise behind her)
(she started to sniff the air)

SCENE 2
(Jacob and another young man called Randy were walking in the same garden)
Randy: are you sure she is here?
Jacob: this is her favourite spot alright...
(they stopped walking and searched with their eyes)
(Jacob noticed the torn dummy. He picked it up)
Jacob: I told you she has to be here
(when they turned around, then found Laura's claws in their faces near their eyes)
(they both screamed)
(she narrowed her angry eyes)
Jacob: it's just us
(she stood straight)
Laura (impatiently) : I know it was you.... What do you want?
(Randy still had widened eyes because of fear)
Jacob: I just...I was just looking for you because....
(Laura folded her arms)
Jacob: I only wanted to thank you...
(Laura was staring in anger)
Jacob: for.... Saving.... Selina
(Laura was still staring in anger)
Jacob: thank you
(Laura unfolded her arms. Then she left without saying a word)
(she came back)
Laura (angry) : you know
(both boys jumped with fear)
Laura: your sister is way different than you...
(they both swallowed hard)
Laura: or may be because she is still young....
(she had piercing eyes. She approached Jacob)
Laura: I hope she won't grow up to be just like the way you are... And everyone else....
(then she was leaving)
Randy: Summers would like you to speak to you...
(she stopped walking)

SCENE 3
(in Rachel's office)
(Rachel was standing, staring at her mother's (Jean Grey) portrait at her office)
(Laura entered and looked at the portrait)
(she looked back at the back of Rachel)
Laura: you want to speak to me
(Rachel turned then she smiled)
Rachel: you never knock
(Laura kept looking at her)
(Rachel took a deep breath)
Rachel: take a seat
(Laura sat down)
(Rachel sat in front of her)
(they both paused)
Rachel: I spoke with Selina the other day.... She is overwhelmed that you saved her...
(Laura looked down)
Rachel: she also told me what you said
(Laura looked at her)
Laura: she told you or you made her?
(Rachel was quiet)
(after a long pause)
Rachel: I also knew what you did to Jake the other night..
(Laura stared in silence)
Rachel: you wanna tell me what's going on?
(Laura looked away)
Rachel: why did you fight with him?
(she turned to Rachel)
Laura: family business....
(Rachel smiled)
Rachel: may be you are protecting him...
(Laura started at her)
Rachel: are you?
(Laura had sharp eyes)
Laura: it's.... family business....
(Rachel took a deep breath)
Rachel: Laura... You can't accept others if you can't accept yourself...
(Laura was silent)
Rachel: you have spent years fighting everyone around you because you are actually... Fighting yourself inside ...
(Laura didn't say anything. She looked down)
Rachel: you are unique
(Laura looked at her)
(after a long pause)
(Laura came closer and smiled evilly and placed her two fingers over her mind)
Laura: your words are too sane for an insane person...
(she put down her hands)
Laura: I've tried so hard... To be that calm person who sits in front of you now while you are preaching ....
(she headed back to the chair)
Laura (smirked) : your head would have been where your shoes are at now...
(Rachel smiled)
Rachel: are you threatening me?
Laura (calmly and coldly) : my job before was never to threat.... My job before was to execute....
Rachel: but you work for no one now...
(Laura's smile disappeared)
Rachel: you are free....
Laura: I'm never free...
Rachel: what about us?
(Laura paused)
Rachel: you don't get to consider us a family?
Laura: I don't have any family.. Both my parents are dead...
Rachel: what about the Fuego?
Laura: they are the only reason why I'm staying here...
(Rachel stared)
Laura: I don't think you can protect them
(Rachel smiled)
Rachel: I think you still underestimate us
Laura: prove me wrong then
(Rachel pause)
Laura: help them to unleash their powers... To destroy who was responsible for their suffering.... And mine....
(Rachel came closer to her)
Rachel: you just want someone to avenge you...
(Laura was silence)
Rachel: something to make you feel better about yourself....
(Laura looked away)
(Rachel stood up)
Rachel: we don't teach revenge here, laura....
( she walked around Laura)
Rachel: we help them to adapt...
(she stood in front of her)
Rachel: so they could live with themselves... And with others...
(Laura looked at her. She frowned)
(someone spoke to Rachel in her ear piece)
(suddenly, there was a button on Rachel's suit)
(she pressed it and a holographic screen opened. It was the Cerebro which detected a new mutant)
Rachel (talking to her ear piece) : show me
(Laura stood up and was ready to leave)
(the screen zoomed in the mutant)
(while Laura was leaving she looked at the screen then she suddenly stopped and stared)
Laura: Tyler?
(Rachel turned to her)
Laura (she frowned) : that's impossible...
