rose
we're on our way to a jewelry shop to get a diamond ring. i'm still pissed off at him for taking me. he grabs my thigh and i get goosebumps. he smiles but he's still looking ahead.
we got there and the women helped. we picked one out and he bought it. it slid it on my middle finger
i gotta admit it was so beautiful
we got home and we were gonna go to the beach. i put on a black bathing suit. on top was a white shirt and black shorts
i got my sandals and waited for joey
he came down with black shorts and he was putting on a shirt
cameron invited us

we got to the beach and i took off my shirt. rose took off her clothes and got in the water. we got far in and she was so close to me. she said she was cold. i smile and hug her
we got out the water and put clothes on
we were heading to the fair
i won games and got rose stuffed animals.
she hugged them like a baby
after the fair we went to get dinner. cameron's family tagged along. after we ate, i drove us home. rose layed down on the couch. her legs hurt. i got a call
"hello?"
"hey joey it's jess. your cousin. i was wondering if you had space at your house for me to stay over"
"sure i'll send you the address"
"bye"
i've missed jess
until she told me she like liked me
it was so awkward. i told rose about it she said sure but she didn't smile and or look at me. she probably thinks i'm gonna cheat

i can't believe i said yes to joey. idk who jess is but her name sounds like a name who's annoying. she gets here and hugs joey tight. she kisses him on his cheek. wow.
i roll my eyes and go upstairs. i heard then talking but ignored them. i put on a grey champ hoodie with black jeans. i grabbed my grey nikes and got downstairs. joey gave me a confused look
"where are you going?"
"going to hang with a couple of friends"
"what about me"
"well you can cuddle with your so called cousin bye!"
i left the house and drove to the basketball court to find charles,aaron and mark
they saw me and went in my direction.
we talked and played basketball
they asked why i was here
"joeys cousin kissed him and i didn't want to be there seeing her on top of him"
"jess?"
"yup"
"that's not his cousin, that's his old friend"
charles said
anger filled my body.
just wait till i get home.
we played more and then i went home
i pulled in the driveway and opened the door to see jess sleeping on top with joey. he had hickeys on his neck. i went upstairs and layed on my bed. someone opened the door and i saw joey. i acted normal.
joey
jess isn't my cousin she's an old friend only said that to make rose feel safe. when rose left jess got on top of him and gave me hickeys i was caught up in the moment to realize i cheated again
i fell asleep. i woke up and rose was home. i got upstairs and saw rose laying down.
"hey"
"oh hi"
"how was your hang out"
"it was fine and if you don't mind can you get out wanna sleep"
"ill sleep with you"
"no no no i'm fine. you can sleep on the couch with your new girl."
"omfg"
i yelled at her

"I TOLD YOU SHES MY COUSIN WHY CANT YOU TRUST ME"
"well idk maybe because she was on top of you and you guys kissed and she gave you hickeys and maybe because she isn't your cousin"
i said quietly and he left. i smiled and drifted to sleep. i woke up with arms around me. ugh joey. i push him off me and i put on adidas pants with a maroon shirt. i slip on white vans and text charles if we can hang. he said sure. he came to pick me up. i grabbed extra clothes and shoes. i slowly pulled joey out my room and locked my door so no one could come in.
i saw jess making breakfast bleh.
she says
"oh hey cutie"
"bye"
she rolls her eyes and i leave.
i drove off to charles house.
i walk in to see loren making breakfast
i run to her and hug her
i missed her

rose told me how joey cheated but she's playing it cool. she hung out with us and she's staying the night. an hour later of just watching netflix.
the door bell rang. i went to answer it to see joey with a dozen of roses
"is rose here"
"yes but i don't think she wants to see you"
joey looks inside to see marks arm around rose. she's just smiling. joey runs away and i shut the door.
joey
i can't believe her. going off with mark. my bestfriend. man. she really can get any guy. makes me wonder
rose
i hung out with mark then i left to buy ice cream
i saw this brown haired boy with green eyes.
i went up to him
"i'm rose wby"
"hayes"
hayes was so cute. we talked and talked. he was so flirty. i had to leave so i kissed his cheek
i got his number
i went home and opened the door. to see joey laying on the couch eating ice cream. i walk up to my room and open the door. i put my backpack down and took my shoes off
i went to the freezer and put the ice cream in
i sat on couch and watched tv. i could feel joeys eyes on me. i know i'll forgive him but-
my thoughts were cutoff when jess walked in
she gets on top of joey and joey pushes her off
he gets all her stuff and throws it outside.
he kicks her out and sits back down.
i get up and lay my head on joey while he plays with my hair.
he tries to kiss me but i move away.
"not today pretty boy"
and i fall asleep on his lap
