Chapter 1

Rebecca's POV:

I sighed I got out of bed and got ready for work. Ever since we went bowling with Zoey, Sheldon and her Dad last year I can't seem to get Tyler out of mind. It's all I ever think about is Tyler. I put on my outfit and got in my car. 

I worked at the Hilo Library as a Librarian. I know right the crazy, confident and energetic Rebecca Taylor is a librarian. Tyler used to be a fire fighter but he quit that job and now works at Blanes Drive Inn and Itso's.

I walked into the library and signed in. Today I was organizing the books and putting them away. I was in the Childrens section and I saw Zoey with her daughter Tasha, "Hey Zoey" I whispered she stood up and hugged me, "Hey Rebecca how've you been"

"I'm good. How are you guys"

"We're good. Tasha's starting to walk and she has some teeth coming in"

"Aww that must be exciting"

"It is but she's been biting at a lot of things. The other night she bit Sheldon's shoulder and she also figured out to put things in her mouth"

"She must be handful"

"For now" Tasha started grabbing at Zoey's hair

"Oww Baby don't pull on Mommy's hair" she smiled and laughed

"She's such a happy baby"

"Yeah she is"

"You guys here to borrow anything"

"No I took the day off cause Sheldon had to work and I wanted some time with my baby"

"She looks a lot like you but she has Sheldon's hair"

"Hopefully not his personality"

"No she look's a lot like her Mom I think she'll know what to do when she gets older. Oh yeah when's your guys wedding"

"This week Saturday"

"Wow. Did you guys do any planning"

"Yes and let me tell you it's so stressful"

"We're having it down at the beach. Mason was gonna help us plan it but Sheldon and I just want a simple wedding"

"That's nice"

"Have you spoken to Tyler lately"

"No not since last year"

"Well maybe you'll see him at the wedding plus you're my maid of honor"

"Yeah and I figured you'd make me the maid of honor. Anyways I gotta get back to work but I'll see you guys on Saturday"

"Alright bye Rebecca" I gave Zoey one last hug and continued with the job.

Finally work was done I was hungry so I drove to Cafe 100 and saw Aaron working, "Hey Rebecca what can I get for you"

"Hey Aaron can I get an Ahi sandwich, a scoop of potato mac salad and an orange bang"

"Alright you're total comes out to $9.43 and would you like it for here or to go" I paid Aaron and said, "I'll take it to go" I sat down at a table and waited for my order to be called. A few minutes go by and my order was called

"One Ahi Sandwich with one scoop of potato mac salad, and an orange bang" I stood up and grabbed my food then left. I drove to safeway and brought a few groceries before I went home.

I pulled into my parking space and walked up the flight of steps to my apartment. I lived on the third floor in a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment. I moved out of my brothers place not long after I got my job. He'll visit me every now and then to make sure that I'm ok and to see how I'm doing. I put my food on the coffee table and went into my room grabbed my clothes and jumped in the shower.

I came out wearing a black and white stripped drawstring shorts and a black and white long sleeved baseball shirt. I grabbed the remote and turned on the T.V, I took out my food from cafe 100 and ate while I was watching Hawai'i Five O.

My phone buzzed on the table and I checked to see who texted me and it was Tyler

"Hey Becca" My heart started racing Tyler and I haven't talked since that date that we had a year ago. I told him how I felt and he didn't say anything and he was acting really weird. I replied back saying Hi. He texted back instantly, "What are you doing"

"Eating Dinner and Watching Hawai'i Five O"

"Nice, What's for dinner"

"Cafe 100"

"What'd you get? Wait let me guess...you got a Loco Moco"

"Nope I got an Ahi Sandwich with one scoop of potato mac salad and an orange bang"

"Sounds good"

"Well I'm going to call it a night"

"Ok night Becca"

I turned off the T.V, finished my dinner and I went to bed with thoughts of Tyler on my mind.
