Chapter 28

We've been in California for about a week now and I finally got a whole free day so I'm taking Yoongi to the beach.

Once we finally arrived, I parked the rental car I was using and grabbed the bag I packed for the beach. Once I got it, I grabbed Yoong's hand and we walked towards the beach.

We finally found the perfect spot where it was shaded and close to the water and away from people. I set everything up and we finally got settled in.

"Do you want to go swimming with me?" I asked him.

"Okay, but can I keep my shirt on?" He asked shyly.

"Yoongi, you're beautiful. But if it makes you feel uncomfortable you don't have to," I said to him with a soft smile. He just nodded his head at me. Then I got up and took my shirt off while readjusting my swim trunks. I could see that Yoongi was flustered and looked away.

"You're too cute, come on," I said while I helped him up and dragged him to the ocean. We messed around in the ocean for awhile before we finally decided to take a break to go eat the picnic I packed for us. Soon after we were finished I looked towards Yoongi, who was reading.

"Do you want to go back in the water with me?" I asked him.

"No, you go ahead," he said.

"Okay, I'll be back," I told him while ruffling his hair and then walking away.

After I swam for a while I decided to just sit and chill in the shallow area. I closed my eyes for a second and breathed in the salty air until I felt someone wrap their arms around my neck and hugged me from behind. I got startled and turned quickly around to see that it was Yoongi.

"Yoongi? What are you doing?" I asked him. He just clung onto me tighter. I just only smiled to myself, usually I'm the one to did this kind of stuff to Yoongi.

Eventually he let go and got up to sit in front of me. When I saw him, it made me smile even more; he took his shirt off.

"Thank you," he said while shyly smiling at me.

"For what beautiful?" I asked him.

"Just for being you. And bringing me along. You're seriously so amazing to me. I don't know what I did to deserve you," he said with a cute blush on his cheeks.

"You're too cute," I said while quickly grabbing him and moving him to sit on my lap while giving him kisses everywhere on his face.

Once I stopped, Yoongi was really red now but he had this huge gummy smile on his face. I've never seen it before and I'm so glad I did.

"Wow, your smile is amazing," I said to him. He quickly looked away before looking back at me and giving me this almost determined look. I just raised my brow at him, about to say something until I suddenly felt his lips on my own.

I was so shocked that I didn't do anything but stay still with my eyes wide-opened. Yoongi noticed and quickly stopped.

"I-I'm so sorry...oh my god. Why did I do that?" He quickly said while covering his mouth. He looked like he was about to cry.

"Hey, hey. Stop that. If anybody should be apologizing, it should be me. I was just so shocked...but I liked it," I said while smiling at him.

"Really?" He asked me.

"Yeah, let's do it again," I said while leaning in as he did the same. Soon our lips met once again, but this time I kissed back and I definitely put my all into it.

We finally had to separate because of the lack of air, but god I didn't want it to end. We placed our foreheads onto each other and panted for air.

"You're so beautiful Yoongi," I told him before I kissed his forehead. We just stayed like that for a while, enjoying this moment for as long as we can.
