Waking up in Amsterdam after a long flight from home , I decided to go to a restaurant . I was sitting in a restaurant called the five Flies which was not far from the local hotel I was staying in for two nights . Supper had been something I hadn't eaten before and had found delicious smoked Eel on toast . A Dutch folk-singer had just finished a song I had enjoyed without understanding a word of it .
As the chimes of twelve o'clock were sounding across the roofs of the city , midnight was being evicted from a gilded old clock- tower that had been tossing out hours .
Holland was a beautiful place indeed . I've read about Holland in books and I've always been dreaming to step foot in Holland . And since my dreams came true I'm making the most of it .
After having Supper I decided to call it a night since I was exhausted from the long travel .
Amsterdam was truly an amazing place which I intend to explore tomorrow .
