Being listed on the bucket-list since long, the plan is set to trek the divine Dzukou Valley, which is located in North-East of India, after having conversation with Thejaseko and Kesowe-u.
Soon, preparation kicked off and started fishing more people to join the team for a better company; thereby Akono, Asiito, Batu, Dolewe-u & Tekhe joined up to execute the plan.
So we are eight in group.
It was on 29th June 2017, where the long awaited day has arrived to see by ourselves and step onto the abounding story of Dzukou Valley. Since, packing was done overnight and henceforth, i left my home by dawn.I took a taxi from Senapati till Mao-Gate. Since there was no taxi plying between Mao-Gate and Khuzama, that leave me no choice but to warm up my trekking skill for 2.5 km until i catch a taxi at Khuzama to reach Viswema.
My friend had already waited for me around 40 minutes at Viswema junction which is set to be our first base-point.
We are introduced to each other with a smile and wasting not much time, we begin our trek towards Dzukou.
Trek begins.
Soon, the unpredictable rain showered upon us but no worries, we were ready for it and the trek continues. We took rest many a times in between and had snacks and drinks as well.
The journey had just began and we seems to be tired and therefore decided to search for the link road less traveled. Sadly, it was unsuccessful thereby returning back to the same route.
The Group taking rest.
We trek long enough for sweat to come and by surprised, we come across a pick-up truck going towards the same direction and by no hesitation, we are ready for hitch-hiking. Eventually, it was successful and we enjoyed a ride for a few kilometers, until our face changed to a bit gloomy when a hitch-hiking turned around to be a fare taxi.
Nevertheless, we continued our trekking again and we reached the end of the wide road that has lesser slope. That spot turned to be our second base-point where we set to have our lunch to renew our strength before the real trek begin.
