It had been about a week since Sebastian was taken away.
The Phantomhive manor was chaos. The only servant who functioned properly was Tanaka, and he doesn't function much. There was to be a new butler, but Ciel could not bear seeing him, as it only reminded him of Sebastian. Oh, if only he knew how he was missed...........
{At Veronica Eustacia's mansion in Paris France}
Sebastian was miserable. There was lots of work to do in The Lady Eustacia's large mansion. Wash this, polish that. Nothing was familiar at all, and he was often lonely. If it wasn't for that stray cat he befriended, he would just be an even more hollow shell of himself.
(Sebastian's P.O.V. didn't expect that huh? Imagine this in J Michael Tatum's voice)
I was busy all the time at that dreadful mansion. Lady Eustacia said she hadn't had a good butler in years. As she walked me through the mostly empty house, I noticed she was right. In fact, there were so many cobwebs and so much dust on the mirrors and paintings that littered the walls, I could barely make out pictures in the gilded frames.
Every day, I cleaned and cooked for Lady Eustacia. Yet every night I sat awake, staring at the carved windows and their stained glass panes and thinking about Ciel. I thought about how much I'd like to see his beautiful face again, and how much I loved his dark silver hair, his big blue eyes and his rare smile.........I'm in love. I love Ciel with all my heart.
