A/N

I thought of this listening to Space Between from Descendants 2.

It's a friendship one-shot btw, and Veronica has lived in Riverdale for most of her life!

-Veronica POV-

Today was the day.

The day I would be leaving Riverdale for good.

I was leaving everything behind.

Archie.

Jughead.

Kevin.

Betty.

All gone.

My family and I are moving back to NYC for my dad's business.

I grabbed my suitcase off my bed and rolled it into the living room. Smithers and my dad was there taking the suitcases out to the limo.

I looked out the window, just to take one last look at Riverdale.

A few minutes later, Archie, Betty, Kevin, and Jughead arrived to my apartment. They all had presents in their hands.

"Hey Ronnie," Archie said, pulling me into a hug.

"Hey guys," I said, trying not to cry.

"We...uh...bought you some goodbye presents," Jughead said, scratching his head.

"Cool, let's open them," I replied, Sitting sat down on the couch.

Archie and Betty sat on either side of me. Jughead sat down on the arm rest of the couch, while Kevin sat down in the chair next to the couch.

"You can open mine first," Jughead said, handing me a purple envelope.

"Thanks Jug," I smiled, taking the envelope.

Inside was a card was a note that said,

"Thanks for being a good friend! I don't really know what else to write...

-Jughead Jones"

There was also a Sephora gift card for 50 dollars.

"I didn't know what else to get you, and I know you like makeup and stuff," He told me, as I smiled at the card.

"Thank you Jug. I'm gonna miss you," I said,
holding back my tears.

I looked at Betty, who looked as if she was about to fall apart. Kevin must have noticed too, because that's when he butted in.

"Here! Open mine!" He said, throwing me a wrapped box.

I caught the box and opened it. There was a framed picture of him, Betty, and I. It was a selfie we took at Homecoming this year. Betty's eyes glanced at the picture. She smiled and then looked at me.

"I'm gonna miss those moments," She laughed.

"Me too," I said, wiping a falling tear.
