Even before the downfall of the Blossom family name had arrived, Cheryl already knew how much of a disaster her family was and going to become.

She would idly sit by, whispers echoing across the town, always a negative set.

Now as the music blasted throughout the home of Archie Andrews, all she could think about was what people were saying. Cheryl still couldn't even comprehend why she was here, she didn't like anyone here vice versa.

She sat up straight, eyes roaming across every person in her vision. She could almost hear the hushed tones of other teens on the other side of the house.

'Why the hell was Cheryl Blossom here?'

Cheryl herself was asking that as well, all she knew was Veronica had invited her and the rest was that. It was a party celebrating someone she was sure she didn't know, much less care.

An exasperated sigh escaped her dark-red lipstick coated lips, standing up quickly she clutched the matching red plastic cup tightly as she slipped through the crowd. She tried her hardest to not snap at everyone who looked at her like some disgusting piece of rubbish.

The cup was clenched tight within her manicured fingers and as soon as she got to the table she let out a long breath she was holding. "Why am I even here?" She murmured, eyes closing only for a second until someone's hand rested on her shoulder.

"Hey Cheryl, glad you came! Enjoying the party?" Her eyes fluttered open and met the woman beside her. Veronica's chirpy tone had her taken back before she indulged in the punch before her.

"Define enjoying." She mumbled and Veronica gave a sheepish smile. "Lighten up girl, you're tense. The party's supposed to be fun." Veronica stated as she filled herself a cup of punch, Cheryl shook her head. "I literally know no one here."

Veronica rose a brow and opened her mouth to speak when Cheryl interrupted her. "That likes me." Veronica stayed quiet, knowing fully well that saying otherwise would be a lie.

"I mean I like you." She smiled and Cheryl laughed, "Save the gushy words for Betty will you? I know which way you swing." Veronica went red before bursting into a fit of giggles.

"That's why I like you so much. You say whats on your mind." She remarked before looking past Cheryl's shoulder and smiling widely. "I gotta go, but enjoy the party." She said before dashing off making Cheryl sigh once more.

"God I only know 4 people here." She stated, she put the cup down and pushed her red locks past her shoulders. The whole party was filled with the many people she went to school with, people like Reggie, Moose, Ethel, it was filled with familiar faces.
