Old Times

We got into Jake's truck and pulled out
"So where are we going?" I asked
"I can't tell you that"
"Why?"
"Because its a special surprise"
I giggled
"Damn I missed that giggle" jake said
I just looked at him and smiled, I really did want to forgive him.
"Why are you staring at me?" Jake asked
"Cus"
He smiled but kept his eyes on the road.
We pulled up to a little cafe "jake, really?" I asked
"Yep"
It was the reaustrant we went to on our very first date.
Sweet I thought
He came around and opened my door "thanks"
"Anything for you"
We walked inside and the lady asked "do you have a reservation?"
"Paul?" Jake said
"For two?"the lady asked
"Yes" jake said
"Follow me" she said
We walked to a little table outside that was over looking the coast, we sat down
"Jake this is where we sat the first and last time we were here" I said
"I may of made special reservations" jake said smiling
"What kind of 'special reservations'?" I asked
"The kind that will remind you of the good old times" he said
"Good old times?" I asked again
"When we were together"
"Oh you mean before you cheated on me?" I said, I didn't mean for it to come out like that but it did and I can't help it.
"Alissa how many times do I have to apolagize?" Jake asked clearly upset
"How ever many times you want but know this, I forgive you, but I don't know if I can trust you ever again"
"I'll do whatever it take alissa" jake said
He grabbed my hand and looked me in the eye.
"I miss you" he said
"Jake, you don't even know how much I miss you" I said
"Why can't we be together then?" He asked
I looked down at my lap.
"What about team ten? What about logan? What about everyone else?" I asked
"Team ten would be thrilled to have you back, even the new ones. What do you mean 'what about logan'? You don't have feelings for him, do you?"
"No" I lied
"Okay good" he said
I looked at my lap
"Why?" I questioned
"Because I still love you"
"Oh, jake I-" I was cut off the waiter
They had the food and drinks
"But we never-" I was cut off again
"I told you I made special reservations" jake said.
It was the same things we had on our very first time here, he must of remembered how much I liked it.
I smiled at him.
"What?" He asked, he never stoped smiling
"Jake this is sweet" I said
He grabbed my hand and entwined his fingers with mine "like I said before, anything for you"
*Time skip a hour later*
We were sitting on the beach just talking.
"I want you to come back to the house" jake said
"What?" I was shocked
"You don't have to be a part of team ten I just want you to come back hang out and meet everyone"
"Jake I'd love to, but don't they hate me?" I asked
"No of course not" jake lied
"Okay fine tomorrow?"
"Perfect"
