Nothing was as refreshing to Aeris as flying. Planets, stars, and solar systems ran past her. She was all alone when she flew and she felt like she had the whole universe to herself. There's no one for her to lose, so no way for her to get hurt.Aeris was gladly, on her way to Naboo for a mission. Her ship needed some major repairs after getting stuck in the middle of a space battle not too far away from Coruscant. She was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her ship took heavy damage in an attempt to escape and return to D'Qar. She was currently borrowing someone else's ship from the resistance to retrieve some parts for her ship. Her engine took most of the damage but her hyperdrive got caught in the mess too, resulting in a long return to the rebel base.
As Aeris neared Naboo, she turned her hyperdrive off and she slowed to a normal speed. She steered her way to the heart of the planet, entering the atmosphere smoothly. She lowers her ship to the nearest landing dock, easing herself onto the platform. Aeris turned her ship off after landing, as her ship was no stranger to the city, she went on her way with no trouble.
The citizens of Naboo crowded the city streets, making it a bit hard for Aeris to wiggle through the crowds to find her usual repairs shop. She gazed at her surroundings, buildings reached the sky, signs decorated the streets, people filled the walkways, and her ears could bleed from how loud the city was. She found herself nearing the shop, when Aeris was suddenly grabbed by multiple hands and pushed into the nearest ally. Aeris screamed for whoever grabbed her to get away but a hand covered her mouth before anyone could hear. She struggled against the arms keeping her restrained, but was too weak to fight off whatever was pulling her. She felt her wrists get tied together, and a cloth was pulled around her head from her mouth, gagging her. Her feet were restrained next and she found herself unable to move. She was picked up and a bag was pulled over her feet and quickly enveloped her whole body. She was thrown over a shoulder and she felt herself moving.
Aeris had no idea why she was targeted, but she knew it couldn't be good. It felt like hours before she was thrown to the ground like garbage and she was released from the bag. She was almost blinded by the sudden light clouding her vision, but when her eyes focused, she was in the clearing of a forest. She seemed to be in a village, small huts scattered the clearing, a stack of logs in the middle, likely for a fire.
She was dragged to a tree in front of her. Aeris' back was pushed to the tree and for a moment her hands were released, only to be restrained above her head. Her gag was ripped off and men began to surround her. They were filthy, covered in dirt and blood. They all wore a look of disgust. A woman then stepped in front of them, more intimidating then all of the men combined. She was dark skinned and her hair was short. She was covered in dirt and blood as well, but significantly more than the rest.
"Why are you here, bringer of death."
The woman demanded harshly, spitting in her face."I don't know what you're talking about." Aeris spit back.
"Your kind is not welcome here. You kill out people without a care. Disrespect is not tolerated here."
"I'm just a pilot. I don't kill people."
"You are one of them, and that deserves punishment."
Aeris was confused and angry. She hasn't done anything to these people. Hell, she didn't even know who they were.
"I don't need to get punished, I haven't done anything!" Aeris shouted.
"Quiet, little girl!"
The woman took out a knife and slashed at her stomach, slicing her skin painfully. Aeris screamed in pain, her abdomen burning.
"Each person here will give you one cut, as punishment for your killings." The woman explained.
"But I haven't killed your people." Aeris whimpered, much quieter than her previous statements.
"I don't care." She spat.
The woman stepped away, and another man stepped forward. He raised Abbott and sliced her bicep slowly, Aeris screaming with each second her cut her. More men came up and Aeris' screams echoed through the forest. She wanted nothing more then to die right now and not suffer any more of this torture. She felt fatigued, her body growing weaker, and she wanted to collapse but her wrist restraints above her head prevented her from falling. Her vision blurred as tears streamed down her bloody cheeks. Something in her felt like dying, as the pain wouldn't stop. It just kept coming, and coming, until she couldn't stand it. Her body fell unconscious, everything fading into black, her body numb.
