'The door... How do I get out of here?!'
Tyler's gaze was transfixed on the doors to his exit or rather... His entrance, mysteriously disappeared. Tyler began to feel uneasy and he felt a tug on his arm and looked down to see Celeste looking at him with disappointed eyes and then she shook her head.
"Tyler..." Celeste began and then glanced towards her sister.
Selene nodded in response and Celeste nodded after. "Once we enter... We cannot leave. We've tried. When someone enters, we try. But we've given up. And so when you came, we payed no mind." She sighed.
"I... I see..." Tyler said slowly in response. He sighed sadly knowing that if they couldn't leave, neither could he.
Celeste looked down and let go of Tyler's arm and Tyler looked at her wondering why she looked so disappointed.
Celeste looked up at Tyler as she bit her bottom lip anxiously and then opened her mouth to speak. "Tyler..."
"Yes?" Tyler replied looking at Celeste and then at Selene.
"N-nevermind..." She stuttered and then sighed.
"Tell me. What's bothering you?" Tyler said.
Selene quietly stepped away as Tyler and Celeste were about to open up for bit. She decided that she should at least let them have some privacy.
"I just... Now that you're here... I should've at least tried to open the doors or walk theough again. I don't want to be stuck here." Celeste sighed.
Tyler had a small goofy smile and then laughed. "Cheer up. If you're the sun, you shouldn't be this down."
Celeste gave him a small smile and then nodded determinedly with a newfound fiery passion.
"Alright! Let's introduce you to the other's yeah?" Celeste gushed and Tyler laughed and rolled his eyes as the 'shining sun' came back.
Celeste grabbed Tyler by his wrist and happily tugged him along and they walked briskly towards the so-called 'Room One'.
It was a large, spacious room. But it was not as large as the dark void Tyler came through however. But in it were glorious tapestries and ruby red curtains up on the milky, smooth and cold marble walls as well as marble and gold statues, pedestals and pillars. Wonderfully textured persian carpets were sprawled on the wooden floors. But in the center, was an ornately carved, wooden, round table. The wooden table had twelve circular small mirrors the size of a palm around the edges. And, it was big enough to fit all twelve of them with lots of room for possibly more than twelve people. And directly above the table, was a glittering, crystal chandelier. The room had two staircases distanced from each other on the wall across from them leading to two more large wooden doors. And in between the two staircases was a full-body mirror that looked and had the height of a door.
Tyler tried his best to take it all in and Celeste giggled at his face which expressed true awe.
Tyler had never seen a room so grand in his entire life. He had never been to the grander side of life where the aristocrats claimed territory. He had been used to bustling days in the city, quiet nights in a simple house just sprawled on his bed reading or in front of a computer playing games till dawn, or simply sitting on a couch watching television till he lost interest.
This was life brought up to a whole new level.
Ryan of course would definitely be used to the sight of a room like this.
"Pretty cool place right?" Celeste giggled and released Tyler's arm to pinch his cheek to snap him out of his trance.
Tyler nodded with a smile and Celeste smiled back at him. Happy to see someone smiling.
"Hey, there's Mars and Marco. Let's go up to them yeah?" Celese said excitedly anda then tugged on his arm again.
"Celeste, I can walk on my own." Tyler laughed and Celeste moaned angrily which made him laugh more.
"Who's this, Celeste?" Asked a male with dirty blond hair.
Celeste and Tyler turned to see the male with dirty blond hair and Celeste instantly let go of Tyler's arm.
"Someone popped in again, Jin." Celeste smiled at 'Jin'.
"Hey. Err... My name's Tyler." Tyler said quite casually but a little nervously.
"Hey. Did you just get here from the Mirror Room?" Jin asked Tyler.
Tyler blinked. 'The mirror room? Was that what it was called?' He thought to himself.
   "The mirror room?" Tyler asked.
"You know, the place with a lot of mirrors and the disappearing doorway." Jin shrugged like it obvious. Tyler felt somehow embarassed and nodded feeling his cheeks heat up. Celeste laughed from this feat.
"Oh hey! New guy!" Mars laughed calling for Tyler's attention.
"Yeah. Hey Mars." Tyler replied and gave her a friendly and casual wave.
"Yah-huh. C'mere. This is Marco." She laughed.
The male rolled his eyes at Mars and gave her a cold glare with his dark green eyes and his shaggy brown hair with a single strip of green hair, fell on his face.
"Mars. Quit it. I've seen too many people today." Marco groaned.
"Alright! Geez you hothead." Mars said angrily.
   "You're the hothead." Marco muttered.
"Why do you all just fight? I'm sick of it!!!" Celeste protested loudly and they looked at her.
Tyler sighed as he pat her shoulder and Celeste continued raging. Marco stayed cold and rolled his eyes and ran up the left staircase, entered the doors, and stayed there. Mars' mouth had become a thin line of concern as she shook her head and then gave them all a smile.
"We're all moody at least once right?" She laughed and they gave her sympathetic smiles.
"Guess so." Tyler replied and then Mars rolled her eyes.
"Whatever. I'll get him back here or something." She shrugged and began running towards the left staircase. And Jin looked alarmed.
"You can't go to the boy's dorms Mars!!!" Jin exclaimed and Celeste and Tyler laughed as Jin chased after a laughing redhead.
"Carl! Get her out of the guys' dorm!!!" Jin shouted as a male with bright orange hair smiled cheekily as hr opened the two doors and w surprised to see Mars who was running up the staircase.
"Make way Carly!!!" Mars laughed and tackled him but then he wrestled her and Jin groaned as he facepalmed.
Tyler laughed as Mars and Carlos wrestled while shouting at each other and Celeste rolled her eyes with an evil smirk.
Jin seperated Mars and Carl from each other and they groaned angrily as Jin scolded them.
"Killjoy..." Mars groaned and went down the stairs and sat on the round table and swung her legs angrily as she groaned.
Celeste gave Tyler a look and they burst out laughing.
Carl sighed as he entered the two doors atop the left staircase and so did Jin. Celeste giggled and nudged Tyler. He looked at Celeste with a confused face and Celeste pouted.
"What is it Celeste?" Tyler asked.
"I was just thinking about why we're all here. There are twelve of us now with you included." Celeste stated with a quizzical look on her face.
"I don't think I've met all eleven of you. Only some." Tyler shrugged.
And at that exact, coincidental moment, a male with glasses and neatly combed hair and an annoyed frown appeared as Carl burst out talking to him.
"And that is?" Tyler asked Celeste as he pointed at the male with glasses.
"That? That would be Geoffrey. Not a he. A that." Mars said as she shivered.
"He's almost as into the books as my sister is. They liked talking about astronomy and history with each other a bit before you arrived here." Celeste quoted.
Tyler nodded and mentally noted that twelve people were stuck in a weird mansion with no way out, a disappearing doorway, and mirrors which gave off a feeling... a strange one... as if the mirrors were important.
Geoffrey gave Tyler a glance and looked the least bit surprised and then nodded at Tyler and walked away.
"That dude snobs everyone." Marie said again and sighed angrily.
Celeste sighed and shook her head at Tyler but then groaned after she heard a voice call her from the right staircase.
"My sister calls. I have to go up. Meet the others okay?" Celeste laighed as she ran up the stairs.
She sang the words 'Coming~!' As she laughed and dashed up the staircase. Tyler smiled and then looked twoards the left staircase remembering that Jin had mentioned the word 'dorms'.
Tyler's face had a quizzical look and then he shrugged and went up the stairs.
They felt longer and higher up than they looked. The other's have been in the place a bit earlier so he told himself that they probably grew used to the stairs.
He opened the two sets of doors and entered the boys dorms...
