The early morning sunlight drifting in through the window and falling on closed eyes is an unwelcome wake up call for a sleepy seventeen year old. It could all be fixed if he closed the curtains at night, but then he'd have to start setting his alarm, and bird song plus warm sunlight is a nicer way to break in the day. Asa stretches and sits up, blinking blearily to try and get his mind in gear, looking around his bedroom to process his surroundings. It was his room all right, clothes on the floor and science fiction movie posters on red painted walls. He glanced at his digital clock and sighed. 6:15, right around the time he needed to be up and getting ready for school.

Asa Chart was a junior in the high school about a half a mile away from his house. He lived with his father, mother and little sister in a two story house sitting on about three acres of farm land. He himself wasn't a big out doors man and his parents understood and respected that, they just let him tend the flowers right around the actual house. He was of average height and weight, standing at 5'10 and 162 pounds, okay maybe he was a little skinnier than normal but that wasn't anything to be helped. Asa ate like a horse and still didn't gain much weight. He wasn't complaining though, he had nice enough thighs and a good waist, all the things a boy needs to attract a partner. His light brown hair was just at the right length to frame his face nicely, complementing baby blue eyes that captivated most people. The one thing he didn't like about his appearance were his teeth, or his two front teeth to be precise. They were just a little bit too long, peeking out when he had his mouth open even the smallest bit. At least the nickname bunny wasn't too bad.

Asa was a good kid, A's and B's in school, a good family, good friends...there was just one tiny little problem. The reason he was so happy with his hips and thighs, guys loved a good ass and a waist they could slot their hands on. Not that Asa thought about guys touching him all the time...just a good bit of the time. And he would never go broadcasting his thoughts out loud, he was a soft spoken person, and as confident as he was in his sexuality, he hadn't officially come out yet. The only one who knew was Marie, one of his best friend's girlfriend.

He didn't think his parents would disown or shame him, or that his friends would shun him for eternity if they found out he was gay...that wasn't the reason to keep it a secret. There was one person...more specifically one man that he was holding back for.

"Asa are you already up...what time is it?" A disheveled head of blonde hair poked out from underneath his comforter, dark blue eyes cloudy with exhaustion. Asa's eyes trailed along the expanse of his bare tanned back as he stretched, large muscles straining against flawless skin. Even more specifically, he was refraining from announcing his sexuality to this one man, his best friend of five years who just happened to be one of the straightest people he'd ever met. Well that was a step too far, because they cuddled sometimes and texted with smiley faces and hearts, but Luca Rale had always dated women, just women. Beautiful women that were sweet and just made to be with a man like him.

He'd been in love with Luca for as long as he can remember knowing him, ever since he saw him smile and push another kid to the floor so he could sit next to Asa. That other kid happened to be Gavin, their other best friend of five years. He'd sprung up and ended up sitting in Luca's lap the entire way to school, and they'd been that way ever since. Joking and playing around, touching and hugging because they were just so sure in their sexualities. It wasn't inaccurate, Asa was very sure he was gay, and getting a feel every once in a while out of pretending to be straight was just a perk. Was it deceiving and wrong, probably, but he'd deal with it later in life if the situation came up.

"Yeah we have to get going to school okay, I'll take the shower first you find something to where." Asa grinned and reached down to mess up his friends long hair even more, squeaking when he felt himself pulled down into a bear hug. Then suddenly he was on his back being smothered by almost two hundred pounds of muscle, a sleep leaden voice whispering, "Five minutes." In his ear. Asa shuddered lightly but let himself relax in the other boys hold, burying his face in the juncture between his neck and shoulder.
