(Sally's POV)

Poseidon came by to see the twins today. Jace and Percy were sleeping silently in their bed. Poseidon speaks up "Sally these boys are special. It is very rare to have demigod twins. With both of them together and me being one of the "Big Three" monsters will be here within the hour. Sally, for your own sake and theirs at least one of them must go to camp."

"No. I'm sorry Poseidon but I will not let my child get away from me. They're staying right here with me." I replied.

"Sally I understand that you want to do what's best for them but sending them to camp is. You must. By keeping even one here is risky. Please let me take one to camp. They will be safe there." Poseidon said.

Yes I know I probably should've listened to the god in the first place but I don't want my children to grow up without any parents. But what choice did I have. Either get all of killed or I can send one away and live.

"Ok, fine you may take one to Camp Half-Blood but I will keep the other." I said. To be fair I was heartbroken to let one go. But Poseidon promised they would always be connected.

"These boys will always have my mark to connect them." Poseidon said. At first I was confused but then all of the sudden a trident appeared on their hands. They were searing blue/green at first. Then they seemed to turn into tattoos.

One would have to go so I picked up Jace. I kissed him on the forehead once then gave him to his father, Poseidon. Poseidon took the bundle and disappeared in a blast of salt water leaving behind a salt water smell. I looked down at the other bundle. I picked up Percy and wondered if I shouldve sent him with Poseidon too. Percy will remind me of my choice every day until I send him to Camp Half-Blood as well.

12 years later (Jace's POV)

I have been the only one in Poseidon cabin for as long as I can remember, which basically means my whole life. It started out like a regular summer day. I went for breakfast meeting up with Annabeth halfway there. Annabeth is a child of Athena (I know our parents don't get along but that doesn't mean we have to right?) and she is easily the smartest person at camp. I on the other hand... Well let's just say I have ADHD and dyslexia and don't like reading all that much. I mean Annabeth has those conditions too but whatever.

Anyway we had breakfastat at our separate tables then I went to sword fighting class. It's my favourite. I uncapped my pen díni (Vortex) and started fighting the training dummy. Hermes cabin was there at the same time as me so Luke decided to do battles 1 on 1. Of course I was stuck with Luke because everyone claims I have been training since birth so I should go against the best.

Ugh. That always happens to me. Of course we fought and he disarmed me in about five minutes. Not bad for being five years younger. "Keep you position Jackson." Luke said. He was kind of like a big brother to me. He and Annabeth arrived at camp when I was seven and things just went from there. We finished practice when a we heard screaming from outside the barrier. Everyone rushed forward to see what the commotion was all about.

There he was standing in front of me. I thought I was looking in a mirror. The same sea green eyes, dark messy hair and tanned skin like you've lived on the beach your whole life. I felt like I've seen this person before, but not like seeing myself (which I did see). Then he spoke "I need your help! That... That thing took my mom! Please help me!"

A/N Hey guys I really hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry if it's not the best it's my first one. Don't judge. Please leave some comments and constructive criticism and ya I will try to input that into my writing. Thanks. See ya!
